Great cafe Great food Great people xx
Great customer service, nice food, lovely environment and great place to eat. :)
Love the food, love the staff. Wouldn't go anywhere else ❤️
Home cooked feel and great service! My partner had some dietary requirements and they worked with us and even verified his requirements before they cooked his meal. The portions are generous and made to order. Loved being greeted as we walked in the door by the owners. Relaxed atmosphere. I will stop by again for another wonderful meal soon!
Popped in today for late lunch.
Partner had the huge all day breakfast, I had a sandwich.
Food was very good.....and reasonably priced.
Place was clean and tidy.
What made this place exceptional were the lovely friendly colourful staff.
We ordered the medium breakfast and the mega breakfast via Ubereats and after reading some of the reviews we knew about the possible longer waiting time to be delivered, but we weren't in a rush. The food arrived about an hour later and it was piping hot. The quality of it was one of the best takeaway breakfasts that I have had. Phoned them as well to say that it was blooming lovely. Definitely a 5 star breakfast thank you, and no problems with swapping out some items that the son wasn't keen on.
Amazing food. Just like mother makes! Generous helpings. Fantastic menu. Even boasts a specials board. They source high quality ingredients. Making for very tasty dishes. Have been many times, will continue to go back. Definitely recommend. Breakfast, lunch and dinner served. Personally love the bacon rolls at breakfast. The giant Yorkshire pudding with mash and vegetables is big hit with us. And when the weather is great, even has outside seating. Dining alfresco is wonderful. Great staff. Very friendly. Has wheelchair access.
Lovely cafe, food very good, staff very friendly, clean, would highly recommend, I visited from Cambridge, so will know where to go when in Huntingdon next time.
Fantastic Sunday roast from the Gallery today.
Proper roast potatoes, not that frozen rubbish from that well known aunt😉
Cabbage, carrots, parsnips and stuffing.
Thick tasty gravy.
Can't recommend enough.
Perfect if you don't want to cook, arrives hot and ready to eat!!
Delicious 😋😋😋😋
Have ordered breakfast from here twice and an evening meal once. Each time was not waiting long for delivery, todays breakfast turned up within 20 mins of ordering! Each time been big portions, which were hot and fresh on delivery. Staff who delivered on each occasion always polite and adhered to contactless methods. Very happy on all fronts.
The best bacon sandwich iv ever tasted.
Service was outstanding and we will definitely be returning
Best vegetarian sausages; whole pieces of vegetables make up the bulk of them.
Options for those seeking a 'syn-free' breakfast
Price is very good for large portions and great quality- nothing to fault.
Unlike other local cafes, with oil dripping from the food
Staff are very earthly, and always welcoming. Dog always gets a sausage
Lovely team of people who work well together
We drive from cambridge, to eat at this cafe; no cafe in cambridge can stand against the cafe du gallery.
We love it.
Will miss our trips to this cafe, during the next month, hope they manage to survive this lockdown x
On our first ever trip to Huntingdon today my eight year old daughter and I tried this place for lunch. We have found the place to always go whenever we visit again! She had the kiddie chicken nuggets and chips, I had the cheese burger and chips. Both came with a small side salad. We also both had hot chocolate. She declared it "the best hot chocolate I ever had" because she was cold. I'd call it perfectly lovely hot chocolate at a reasonable price.
What impressed me in particular was the large portion size for the cost. This place delivers tremendous value. Further, I'd been craving good, thick, hot, properly crispy chips/fries for ages and Gallery delivered. My burger was also very nice - nothing special or fancy, just nice, tasty, beefy, and with a good blanket of cheddar on top. My daughter deemed her nuggets "delicious".
This isn't a fancy place where you can pick between ten different gourmet cheeses for your burger. Those places are okay, but sometimes you just want to sit down and eat with your kid without fuss. The staff were friendly throughout, it wasn't very crowded (although the man at the Cromwell Museum said it can get very crowded during holiday season, but he said he also loves the place and it's worth braving the crowds), the tables and chairs were clean and comfortable.
Back in the US this would be considered a good quality diner, so if you're visiting the UK looking for that sort of thing with some more British offerings, this is the place to go.
I happen to have a soft spot for Delft blue plates so that just made it perfect.
Do note that it's called Cafe du Gallery at the location and on the website, but Gallery Restaurant on Google Maps. It's all the same place.
I stopped in on a long Sunday walk with a friend. All we wanted was a cup of tea and a sandwich and this was a perfect choice.
I am a carer and we popped in for coffee and cake😍the cake was absolutely fantastic had been home made, all the staff were amazing went above and beyond through our visit, this is now our regular restaraunt for our coffee and cake ,thank you to all ,your all amazing, 2 coffees and 2 huge slices of cake less than £10 for both👌
