Enjoyed our meal very much. The food was excellent. The sharing desert was gorgeous. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. They also made our two dogs welcome ( in the bar area). The building and location are very attractive.

We found this beautiful pub in a picturesque setting after discovering it about 7 years ago!! I had the warm duck salad and my hubby had the chicken breast. We shared the rustic artisan breads to start. Food was very tasty - could have done with one more piece of bread but guess if one person has it there’s enough! All in all we loved our visit and will definitely return .... one day when we are in that area again!

This was our first time here and absolutely loved it. A great menu including a good choice of vegan and vegetarian food. Even though the place was busy it has a very relaxed atmosphere with extremely pleasant and polite staff. We will definitely return.

The food was excellent and served in a timely manner. The waitress, a girl from Inverness was excellent and looked after us brilliantly. Very reasonably priced too, we will most definitely be back.

Very nice place, a bit noisy as all tables were taken. One visit is enough. Lunch menu was reasonable in price around £20 per person for 3 courses, however not big choice. Panna cotta too sweet for me and cheeps too soft

Called in Saturday afternoon just for a drink and to have a look as booked with friends for Sunday Lunch following day. We had arrived at campsite, next door, earlier in the day. Sat by the main door next to “dog station” where there was a large glass bowl on small table, filled with dog biscuits. We had our 🐩Molly and our Havachon Toby🐶. Got our drinks, gave the dogs a biscuit and were enjoying the lovely ambience when we thought a bomb had gone off. Toby had decided to help himself to another biscuit and the table and glass bowl went flying with the bowl smashed to smithereens😩. The lovely staff were not phased at all, moved us into “the naughty corner” whilst they cleaned up😲. When we arrived for lunch the following day, the glass bowl had been replaced with another bowl full of biscuits. We had a great Sunday Lunch, enough meat to be able to take some home for the dogs. It’s obviously a very busy, popular pub but service was prompt and attentive. Wish we had something like this in Lincoln. Great decor, great service and great atmosphere. All the staff were friendly and efficient. Whoever manages this pub are lucky to have such nice staff. In fact, we liked it soooo much we are thinking of putting our Basecamp on a permanent pitch next door so as we can have The Mill as our local🤗

We came here for my girlfriend's birthday, the food was delicious. I can recommend the king prawns with chilli and feta. Lauren and Beth were fantastic. Thank you again for your excellent service. We'll come back again.

Lovely setting. Restaurant a little shabby but ok. Service (Elise) was excellent. Food was fine but “rustic bread” it was not. Pork was tasty but needed more slow cooking to render the large slabs of fat, and only two tiny scallops. Linguini was tasty and dessert was really well presented.

Well what a delicious Sunday roast that was ...I decided on trio meat followed by a trio of cheesecake. Excellent choices . A beautiful location and traditional but cosy Mill. The chef Sam gets a high five thankyou and the service from Chloe was extremely polite ,friendly and efficient.

I’m sad to not be giving you 5/5 as usually it is but did not really reach my expectations (which is rare)! Came last night with my partner for a celebratory dinner and I am actually sad to say it wasn’t the best. Firstly when we finally got to ordering our food; we were disappointed that the portion sizes weren’t rather big. I ordered the sweet potato massaman curry which was delicious but very small. I only received five very small, bite sized chunks of sweet potato and a very small amount of jasmine rice. As delicious as it was, the only let down was the portion size. Seemed like a starter rather than a main dish. Also the service wasn’t as good as usual (though I understand that it was busy and there were multiple big parties in the restaurant). Mostly due to forgetting my partner’s starter and a drink he had ordered and when we asked about it they suddenly realised and brought it out with his main dish like it was a side and finally came back with his drink. Another disappointment was that my dessert had ran out (Salted Caramel Billionaire’s Bar) but that, again, I understand cannot be helped. Other than those complaints; dinner was delicious so compliments to the chef(s) for their brilliant skills and ability to create flavoursome food. Will be back.

We recently moved to the UK and it was recommended to try the Sunday Roast. It was our first Sunday Roast and it did not disappoint. Everything was delicious and we be will recommending it to anyone looking for a great meal and comfortable atmosphere.

The Brampton Mill, Brampton, England Converted 500-year old mill (still functions) on the River Ouse has several rustic sections for comfortable dining. Old-world charm, but signs of cosmetic neglect. Good beer choices, and varied spirits and cocktails, though several expected cocktails were missing such as no 'ingredients to make a dirty martini'. Weather in April was pretty damp which may have skewed my review. In summer I imagine the Mill's open doors bring the British summer inside. Ambience: 5-star; Food selection and quality: 4-star; Service: 4-star; Parking: 4-star; Price: 4-star; Value: 4-star. Overall: 4-star

Brampton Mill is full of character. The River Ouse is exceptionally high at the moment but thankfully you can still reach the Mill. We had a wonderful Saturday lunch...6 of us, our table was upstairs. Fantastic ambience. Our waitress, Lauren, was very helpful and jolly. If you like desert do not miss the chocolate 💣... One of the best deserts I've ever had. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and would highly recommend.
