11/02/2018 -Sunday lunch. Table booked for 2pm. The place was busy with a lovely buzz. Our table was reserved & we were seated straight away. The serving staff were excellent and gave us time to look over the menu.
The roast beef was amazing, I don't usually like rare meat but this was beautiful, it cut like butter. For pudding it was salted caramel roulade with pouring cream. Again delicious. Highly recommend. Thanks Barley Mow.
I had a lovely family meal at the barley mow on Saturday night. The food was exceptional!! It was such a hot night I couldn't manage it all but the staff helpfully put my leftovers in a container for me to take home. The service was amazing and I would definitely recommend it as a place to eat or just stop in for a drink. My only criticism would be it was very hot in the restaurant and I would have liked some air con or fans but saying that we don't often have this sort of heat so I totally understand. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening.
Lovely local pub that we always try to visit any time we are in the area. The food is excellent, hot, and beautifully presented, and the service is quick and friendly. Great atmosphere and obviously used a lot by locals - the place was buzzing when we visited on a weekday evening.
Yet again the Barley Mow and all of the staff made our craft group Xmas meal a wonderful experience......wow the Xmas menu ...wonderful....the staff....wonderful.....if you have a problem....soon sorted...in fact yet again have already booked for 2018....for us a Cambridgeshire treasure
First visit for Sunday lunch today. Very impressive. Fabulous food and good service. Reasonably priced with a great choice of food and drink. Definitely found a little gem!

Steve and I (Glenys) would like to thank Jenny and her team for making our 30th wedding anniversary celebrations feel so special. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was really helpful. Would definitely recommend this pub to everyone. The food, service and hospitality are exceptional.

We enjoyed our delicious Christmas meals today. The staff were excellent, delivering all 22 meals in a timely manner. It was busy with us and another big group, however they were helpfull ensuring we had everything we needed, we all went back to the office very full. Thank you to all for making it such an enjoyably afternoon.

Had a lovely Sunday Roast, our second visit over the weekend. We and our dog Bailey we're made to feel very welcome - He even got a bowl for himself!

Had an early bday celebration with my husband and 23 others (family and friends), everything went well, food excellent, service definitely 5*. Thank you to Jenny and staff for all you did to make the evening for us.
Such a lovely place! We needed somewhere to eat on a Sunday and aren't from the area. We happened on this place by chance and we were not disappointed. The roast dinner was wonderful, as we're our starters and other mains. Staff were lovely and attentive. We would definitely come back if ever in the area again.
Went for a meal last night. The staff were really friendly and chatty. The food was amazing. I highly recommend steak pie.

Only comment tables are very sticky!! The cleaner uses spray but doesn't wash off!!@
We had a Birthday Celebration. Claire did a great job making the table look welcoming and special and it was much appreciated.
On the whole the group really enjoyed their meal Starters and Mains were the high lights. Dessert had mixed reviews hence the drop in star. Overall I had a lovely evening, good food, great service and everyone said they would go back
We haven't been to The Barley Mow for a long time but we visited here today for a birthday celebration & I must say the food was absolutely amazing as was the service. The new owners are doing an amazing job & the quality of the food for the money is so good too, I can not fault it. The next time we plan to eat out we will be coming straight back!
Very attentive, professional, friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. The food was very good, we ordered sausage and mash and the beef burger and the prices are reasonable. It was also a nice surprise to find a live singer performing in the garden which added to the atmosphere. We will be returning.

Booked for an evening meal with a friend it was great from start to end.
The bar was bright and staff welcoming ordered our meal but stayed drinking in the comfy sofas until our meal was ready staters we’re amazing, main course couldn’t have been nicer tasted homemade , side salad was fresh and plentiful and house red was a perfect complement . A wonderful evening, I will be heading back there soon.

It was cold and we could only sit outside due to Covid restrictions. Nevertheless the staff is attentive and you can get blankets for a symbolic price which are yours. A small lunch menu but everything we had was very tasty and reasonably priced. Just what we needed in a lazy weekend. Recommended!
Food was really good, thought the service was excellent. On the evening we went, they had a singer, entertainer, performing who we thought was very good.

That is one of the best pubs in the area. We were a big group of people and they accommodated us very fast. Service was great and fast. Food was delicious. I had one of the best steaks and definitely the best in the area. Everyone on our table was happy with their food. They have many types of beer and ales. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Lovely pub/restaurant with plenty of tables inside and a lovely garden outside for warm days and nights. The food here is always really good and the staff always lovely. A fairly large car park but gets very busy day and night as very popular. One of my favourite eateries in the area....🥂
