What an outstanding establishment. They upgraded me to room 7 (I didn't ask!). I had a light dinner in the bar. Great service. Fast. Good quality.
Breakfast cooked to order and the quality was so superior to buffet.
Sound proofing terrific in rooms. The variety of tea and coffee on the room tray is very interesting! I did miss my PG Tips though! Wi fi is good and free with no password. My bathroom was enormous and the roll top bath a welcome luxury. I enjoyed the customary "hunt the hairdrier" that hotels love so much! It was in a bag in a corner wardrobe.
I felt sorry for the American who couldn't work out how to open a water bottle. The waitress came to his rescue!

I can't praise this place enough. Staff were very attentive & friendly, made us feel very welcome. We were there for high tea for my sister's 70 birthday. They had even put a special message on our menu for her.

Amazing place!! Great food, wonderful atmosphere and staff, lovely views both indoors and outside, cool wine shop... Good vibe overall. Definitely requires a return trip.
We had a fantastic time , the hotel is lovely. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable . Staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you . The wine shop is an added bonus . We would definitely recommend a stay
Sat out in the courtyard to have sandwiches for lunch. They were delicious as was the chocolate nemesis we shared for dessert.
Service was lovely and the wine shop has some lovely wines at reasonable prices.
Every thing about the old bridge is excellent, the rooms, their staff are just the best so professional and friendly, we had a great experience the first time so took some friends with us, and again none of us were disappointed, you’ve got everything you need under one roof, plus wine tasting with Jess, her knowledge on wine is second to none. Well done guys, keep up the good work, can’t please everyone but we will definitely be back:)

Beautiful surroundings, ideal for sitting outside in the sunshine. Nice interior too. The afternoon teas looked lovely. I found the service to be excellent and the staff friendly. The main menu was a little pricey but understandable for this type of venue and service. I would go back again but for afternoon tea next time. �
After staying at the bridge in March and deciding it is my favourite hotel I was looking forward to my visit again this weekend and also a hint of trepidation as sometimes consistency isn't always there at hotels but I didn't have to worry. It's still my favourite hotel! 😀 great service, great attention to detail. The steak menu was excellent, the steak so full of flavour a great three course dinner good value. I was impressed by the barman who suggested the rhubarb gin when I went into dither mode and suggested a ginger ale with it it was a revelation! Thank you. Breakfast was it's usual glorious breakfast, lots of choice fresh and yummy served by informal friendly staff. Just love the old bridge thank you
I’ve been coming here for years and you can always rely on The Old Bridge Hotel for good, friendly service with tasty food. Today seven of us were in the Mallard Room celebrating my mothers birthday. Having the privacy of a private room made it extra special. Thank you for a lovely lunch.
Impressive, great service, professional but unobtrusive, friendly, courteous very good food, delight to eat here. Re-modelled restaurant is beautiful, fresh, modern but still elegant & charming. A testament to John & Julia's taste and understanding of their guests.

This is a really nice hotel with a lovely restaurant, where we enjoyed a rather gorgeous three-hour lunch yesterday. On the recommendation of the restaurant manager we all chose the lobster which was on special that day, and it was really lovely, washed down by a beautiful Chenin Blanc. Very relaxed, no feeling of being rushed, and overall a memorable experience!
