Really lovely staff! We went on a Sunday as a family (my parents, Uncle and Auntie, and my brood of children!) I had roast beef Sunday roast and it was delicious! My boys also really enjoyed their meals. Will go again!
Stopped off here for lunch after a long 10 mile walk. Decided to have a selection of the 'nibbles' plates and so pleased we did - they were delicious!! We chose the bang bang chicken with a sweet & spicy sauce (this was amazing!) crispy corn & harissa yoghurt, the lamb kofta bites with raita and
Clean comfortable bed really lovely rooms. Staff very helpful the breakfast is massive. We have the 12 hr braised brisket pie for our meal very nice
Lovely pub in the center of Abbots Ripton. Very accommodating and friendly staff. All of us had really tasty roast lamb Sunday lunch. Good selection of beers. Didn't stay there but rooms looked nice. Very busy as you might expect. Loads of outside seating.
Lovely pub, in a beautiful location. We sat in the beer garden on a sunny day, and honestly it was lovely. One of the cleanest pubs I have ever been too as well, which with young children is a necessity.
We stayed here for my husband birthday , the staff are brilliant, nothing was to much trouble, the food is lovely, our room was spotless, plenty of parking, absolutely wonderful, fully reconmend
My husband and I were driving around the area looking for somewhere for lunch and happened upon this wonderful place. The menu was amazing, the food was perfectly cooked and the service was friendly. Huge compliments to the chef! Cannot recommend highly enough
Nice appetizers, good mains. Bar service also very good. Ambiance is better than most gastro pubs. Plenty of parking.
Lovely place, amazing food. They got the padding pool out for the kids on a hot sept day. Really lovely.
We really enjoy this pub. The wait staff is friendly and the food always comes out hot and fresh.
Lovely pub with friendly staff and good beer, wine, spirits and food.
Great food, amazing rooms, and a peaceful and quiet location. Great place for a weekend get away!
Only had lunch, but it was worth every penny. Staff were just so helpful and the food for me was great. I will definitely be back. Thank you.
Exceptionally good venue. I particularly liked the bathroom. Food and setting just great. Perfect location in a tranquil village.
We had a lovely evening meal, the food was piping hot and delicious, the service was perfect. A very memorable evening Thank you
Excellent Christmas day lunch. Nicely cooked Turkey dinners and steak choices but the sea bass on a bed of butter beans was a little disappointing in taste and presentation. But all other dishes from canapes to desserts and coffee were very good. Staff were very friendly and efficient, lovely atmos
Had the most amazing lunch here just after it opened post-refurb. The place looks incredible, the staff knowledgeable and the food was out of this world. The layout of the newly refurbished pub more makes so much more sense and there's been so much thought, effort and money put into making a meal or
Such a great village establishment, wonderful staff, the food is amazing and has some of the best Whisky/Gins........
