Well done to the new Golden Lion team! We have never been in this hotel for food previous to this despite being local to Hunstanton. Being newly refurbished and under new management we wanted to give it a try. We were able to get a late Sunday lunch 7pm last night as a family of 6. We chose 3 beef,
What a wonderful hotel and right beside the sea. We just went for 2 nights and was totally chilled. Staff very helpful and smiley 😊 I'm unable to walk too far at the moment so was nice the shops are literally round the corner. Would recommend paying for residents parking as the free parking in front
Incredible food, fabulous decor, amazing staff... whatever your doing...DO NOT CHANGE IT.
3rd time we've been since the refit, and its absolutely fabulous.

I came here with my son last summer and we loved it. The location is amazing. Staff very welcoming and friendly. We had a sea view room. The room was clean but very basic and slightly dated. ( although they are updating some rooms now) We still loved our stay and we can't wait to come back
A surprise one night stay two fabby days from my husband ... and what a surprise! Beautiful place, friendly helpful staff, fabulous food, great location. Never change. Loved it...

Came here for some pints with family. Was really nice. Friendly staff and they also put the football on for us 👌🏻 Good selection of draught beers too. I wasn’t expecting much from the outside look of it, but the bar area inside was really fresh and nice. Nice log fire too 🔥
Recently refurbished rooms. Great location in centre of town. Had to pay for parking but with it as behind locked barred area. Food delicious but book as it gets very busy . Staff friendly and attentive. Seperate eating and sleeping areas for people with dogs.
We went to the Golden Lion for Afternoon Tea on 4th May 2024. It has been beautifully refurbished. Only had cappuccini to look really at their refurbishment. Lovely comfy lounge overlooking pier and sea. Only thing we would say is the coffee needs to be much hotter, other it was very pleasant. Dogs allowed.
