I’ve been coming here for 20+ years and have never been disappointed. Today I had cod and chips. The batter was perfect, crisp and light. I also enjoy the views of the sunset and that I’m able to bring my dog.

We come to sunny hunny every October staying at Searles and always visit The Waterside at least a couple of times during the week. In October the place had wonderful Halloween decorations which the kids live to see. The menu is basic but plentiful and the food has always been great and served quickly by happy staff! Dog friendly as well! What more could you want!

I recently took my Cane Corso (italian mastiff) to Hunstanton for a long walk, we tried to find somewhere to eat that would welcome her but struggled to find somewhere with shade to give her time to cool down. The waterside bar welcomed us with open arms, there were water bowls available at every door too! I ordered food for myself and my dog which was delicious and a good portion size too. The staff were brilliant and were happy to fill her bucket up with ice (she likes to eat ice when she gets too hot at home). Everybody was so friendly and as a large breed owner I have never been made to feel as welcome as I did here! Thank you all so much for making our day 10 times better!

This is our first visit, and definitely won't be our last. Great views from the outside terrace, and the food was brilliant. The cod was huge, but had to pay extra for peas which you would normally expect to automatically have with a fish and chip meal. I had the fish pie with chips and salad, which was packed with chunky fish, a great sauce and topped with mash, cheese and prawns. Both meals were pipping hot. Meals didn't take long to arrive and the waiter was very attentive. They have gone all out decorating the bar ready for Halloween, which looked fantastic.

Lovely seaside location Well what can I say, it was another wet and windy day and we were craving some food drink and warmth And we found it all here, great Seaview location warm and friendly welcoming Food was of decent quality and served quickly and efficiently. Was quiet so table staff were a little enthusiastic No decaf options offered if you want a warm drink but that was the only main downside Pricing was a little steep but that's the seaside way

Been here a few times over the years. The food is exceptional (make sure you're hungry, as the portions are quite big). Highly recommended 👍🏻

Food was great with fresh fish and scampi, had to pay extra for peas which you think would be standard with fish and chips? But otherwise fine. Staff were pleasant and attentive, and the inside area is all dog friendly which is a massive bonus for us as not many places in Hunstanton allow dogs inside.

We made a stop here when arriving on Saturday at Hunstanton for a quick bite to eat. Inside looked nice and clean. Not many readily available seating areas for more than 4 people but we just used 2 tables for our group of 8. It was quick and easy to order food and drink at the bar. Food was prepared quick and the food seemed fresh. Kids meal is quite limited but we found something for everyone. Personally I had the scampi and it was delightful. Only negative and the reason for the 4/5 stars was the limited seating to either see the seafront or be outside as the inside area can be quite dark.

Can not fault. Looked after me with my culinary needs without question. Partner really praised the steak and kidney pudding. Bar also well priced. Just a shame no pudding.

My wife and I went there at the weekend for some late breakfast, the view from the conservatory of the seaside was very nice. Having to go to the bar section to order drinks and then go to a separate counter to order food was a bit odd but obviously not a massive hassle. The staff member said I can get our own cutlery from the boxes by the counter, however I think a group had recently come in and had put all their used cutlery back in with the clean as quite a few of the knives and forks were covered in bits and crumbs. My wife had the chef's special cod, and I had the scampi. Both were absolutely delicious, you can really tell the difference between freshly catch fish and 'fresh frozen'. The batter on the cod remained crispy throughout, even on the bottom where it would normally go a bit mushy, worth returning to Hunstanton just for that. There are multiple car parks next door and opposite, they are quite pricey but that is not the restaurant's fault.

In a cold and bleak off season evening in Hunstanton, this pub was a great find. Warm and welcoming. Cheery friendly staff. The liver and bacon is superb. Dog friendly too. Well worth a visit.

Had Pizza for the first time in the Waterside . It was excellent. Good value for money . Sat outside on the terrace and watched the world go by . Lovely waitress called Pixie served us and she is a credit to the establishment there . I am local and have always liked the Waterside , but tonight was the best . Been back today and had garlic chicken . My wife likes broccoli cheese bake . All was lovely as usual . 25 pound for both of us. Staff were extremely polite and friendly. Guinness good . 👍 compliments to whoever cooked my chicken BTW! Gunna try to do that at home !
