Despite a miscommunication between the online ordering and actual menu availability, we were offered an excellent alternative to our original order, with a decent explanation and apology. Huge thanks to Anne, in particular, for her friendly and thoughtful approach. We still had a lovely meal and the experience wasn’t dampened by the mix up. We’re not local, but would come again if we were in the area. Thanks!

Booked a table and was seated promptly, The cider I ordered online was out of stock, the barman came to the table and offered suitable alternatives which was nice. One of the menu options wasn't available to order online so I chose something different. All food and drinks arrived quickly and were fine. Service was very good, even with every table full, and staff turning people away. Great place for a no frills family dinner in Hunstanton

We visited this pub 3 times for evening meals on our recent stay at Searles. There were 6adults and 2 dogs in our party. All the staff were very good and the food was delicious. Sadly on our last visit , I ordered the sirloin steak and was very disappointed with it. I tried cutting it from both ends but each mouthful ended up with me taking gristle out of my mouth and giving it to the dogs. I pointed it out to manager and he fully reimbursed my husband. This was totally unexpected and we really appreciated it. I have given Honeystone a 5star review for the food. The reason being 1 poor meal out of 18 is pretty good, also steak can be a tricky meat as we all know. Well Done Honeystone Hunstanton. We will see you next year 👍🏻👍🏻

Date of Visit: 05/03/2024 - Nice pub with an excellent menu and really good daily deals i.e. Pizza and a Drink, Burger and a Drink, Curry and a Drink… you get the idea ! The Pizza was very tasty and generously sized (see photos) I just have a couple of ‘minor-ish’ criticisms: 1. Chips VERY undercooked. I totally understand and appreciate that Chefs have to work to a ‘spec’ but the chips looked and tasted as though they had hardly even seen the fryer 2. No check-back done whatsoever, and for a very quiet Tuesday afternoon service; you would think this would have been carried out as I could then have raised my issue with the chips and had them taken away and cooked a little bit longer perhaps. All in all though, my wife and I would definitely return as the menu was exhaustive and very good value for money in the current economic climate - Thank you :)

Lively pub, decent food and a very lively, happy atmosphere. Very friendly service. We popped in after a long, cold walk and decided to eat while we were there. The menu is nothing pretentious - it is what it is - but what they offer, they do well. It is a lot better than you might think. Its an order and pay at the bar kind of place which would normally preclude it from offering any kind of real service level. Not the case here. The bar staff were super friendly and coped well with our changes to the menu, and the food was delivered with a friendly smile. My wife had the roast beef. It was very nice and well presented. My friend had the burger, which again was well presented and he enjoyed. I went for a pizza. It was very good indeed. I opted for the meaty/barbecue one (I don’t remember what they called it) and there was plenty of topping on a thin base. Overall - a goof experience at a very reasonable price. We will come again.

The staff were all lovely friendly and welcoming. The food came quickly and was really delicious my friend had the sirloin steak and I had the veggie burger both were excellent. Great for families, great for couples. Dogs allowed too! Super range of drinks, non alcoholic and alcoholic! Well done for having shipyard low tide - ace choice. Thanks for a great evening we will be back!

Sometimes you just know from the off set that things will be good. It's a Monday evening in October and it's fairly busy. The staff on the bar are helpful and polite and in top of their game Food was ordered and delivered 10.mins later to the table. Brilliant burger and chicken burger with loads of crispy hot fries. Pots quickly cleaned away. The staff never stopped working. This was way better than we expected and is a sign of a well run and.well managed pub with some good staff. 10.out of 10

Das Essen war ziemlich gut. Es hat diesmal „nur“ eine halbe Stunde gedauert. Ich mag bei diesem Restaurant nicht, dass man seine Bestellungen an der Theke macht und die Getränke selbst mitnehmen muss. Deswegen kann ich nur einen Stern für den Service geben, weil es einfach keinen gibt. Man kann den Hund mitnehmen, sie sind ein Hunde-freundliches Restaurant. What I don't like about this restaurant is that you place your orders at the counter and have to take the drinks with you. That's why I can only give one star for the service because there is simply none. You can bring your dog with you, they are a dog-friendly restaurant.

We had a beautiful meal here. The service was 5 🌟 and the staff were excellent. When you park get a ticket and have meal in the pub and they will refund the ticket off your meal. We stayed overnight night in our Motorhome in the car park (use the overflow carpark) Ask in the pub and give them your reg number, they will add it to the permit list. You can stay until 12 midnight the following night. Dog friendly and we WILL return again. Thank you 😀
