Delicious food and great service, really enjoyed the meal and happy we visited :) the salmon tartare, chicken liver pate and the creme brulee were amazing. Thank you!
One of the nicest restaurant I’ve been to. Service with a smile, pleasant staff. Food presented really well made fresh. it's was my first time I had lobster and it's was cooked to perfection lovely restaurant to go with your partner they make you feel welcome.
Walked in looking for somewhere for dinner and we were greeted by a young man who was fantastic and helpful. We ordered drinks and sat outside for a short while until the restaurant opened at 5:30.

As a family we’ve been coming here since it very first opened… with its prime High Street location, first rate service, and an outstanding array of chefs… what’s not to like!!!
We turned up at Chives quite late on a Sunday evening (7:40pm) and wanted something light to eat that basically didn't involve greasy batter and chips. In Hunstanton, this is more difficult than you'd think.

What a beautiful restaurant. Went to celebrate with my new fiance. We had lobster it was amazing. Then we had three deserts as we couldn't decide what to have. The food is amazing the staff are lovely and the atmosphere is perfect. Would highly recommend 👌
Went for the first time without planning and I truly enjoyed it. Had prawns to start followed by the steak and everything was so tasty and well presented. Staff & service were very attentive. All the places I visited never find a dessert that catches my attention and for some reason couldn't resist
Beautiful clean environment, but very quiet. Some gentle background noise would have been nice, as felt a little like a library. No private conversation, all overheard. Service good and lovely home cooked food. Highly recommend.
Superb service and top notch food. Our first visit with friends and absolutely loved our meal, ambiance and the cute barman. 😍 the service staff were lovely and very efficient and the chef deserves an "I love you and your food hug" thank you for making our evening perfect. Xxxx

Only negative, and it is slight, I would have appreciated being asked how I liked the venison cooked. Mine was well done, but girlfriend's was med-rare.
But the gravy/jus worked to save it.
First time there on our 31st Anniversary, we loved it service good , food excellent, maybe a bit pricey, but will definitely go again, even if it's only for coffee and Cake.Would recommend it to anyone. 😁😁

This was our second visit to Chives, once again we were far from disappointed. It is a comparatively small restaurant but its food strides miles ahead of the size. Cooking from fresh it produces very good meals which are well illustrated on their interesting menu.
