Wow! Waited a while to be fed but it was busy and totally worth the wait... there was 7 of us in our party 5 had pie and all of us were totally impressed, never had a pie with so much tender and tasty meat they were delicious (I'd recommend the Percheron - ox cheek - it was fabulous!!!) My daughter had chicken goujons which were massive and the portion was huge - she emptied her plate which is unusual for her. We will definitely visit again - staff were lovely and the owner was really friendly and took time to chat with us which was a lovely touch. Thanks for a great evening šŸ˜

Visited this place on Sunday, it was our first time eating there. We was welcomed by a very friendly gentleman who seated us and explained how the pie board worked. Great idea might i add! We was so impressed at how officiantly this pub is run. And all the staff are so attentive. The pies they have to offer is a wow factor! We all had different pies and they was all delicious. Honestly can not fault this pub. Fantastic food..we shall certainly visit again when we are next up there. Another bonus aswell they offer takeouts, ideal if your staying at reighton sands like we was. Glad we found this lovely place.

First time there as we were staying the weekend at a nearby caravan park. Service, first class, food unbeatable, place spot on. Best pies we have ever had. The meat was perfect. No fat or gristle. So tender and tasty. What a gem of a place. Couldnā€™t recommend it too highly. Weā€™ll be back!

We went here for tea after reading good reviews on the Internet. We were staying at the southgate b and b in hunmanby and it was a good 15 min walk to the Inn but well worth it. The portions were huge and all homemade. Would highly recommend.

My partner and I booked a table for Friday afternoon lunch. I was recommended to visit Piebald inn by one of my gym friends. I can't thank him enough. It was amazing. Every pie is home made and the vegetables and chips are freshly cooked. The choices you have is mind blowing. They only make a certain amount of every pie, so once theve gone it's chalked off. It's cheap but worth every penny. The service is friendly and very efficient. We'll definitely be revisiting.

Very good menu. 52 different pies with some interesting concoctions. Large portions. Possibly a touch on the pricier side at about Ā£18, but the quality and flavours were good. Not everything feom the menu is was available, but most were. There is a board to indicate how many portions of each that they have. Only down side was that we, as a couple, were wedged between 2 tables of 4, despite there being room elsewhere.

Excellent choice of pies, we have visited three times in the last few years (we live 2.5 hours away) and all of our choices have been good over that time. There are so many to pies to choose from, itā€™s very difficult to decide what you want. Staff are friendly and helpful. Dogs are allowed in the pub, but not the restaurant side which is good. Set in some lovely countryside.

My husband, cousin and I made our first visit to the restaurant today. Each of us had a different type of pie and we couldnā€™t fault them. They were extremely well filled and totally delicious. Generous portions and a good choice of vegetables to accompany the pie. Well worth visiting. Staff were very helpful, pleasant and friendly. Unfortunately, I left my handbag at the table but my husband received a call in very quick time from the restaurant to inform us of this. I would like to say a special thank you to the young man who served us, phoned us about the bag and kept it safe for me, (Friday afternoon 1/3/24). He is a credit to the restaurant.

After a wonderful day in the Yorkshire countryside with family, we had previously booked a table here, at the Piebald Inn. All 5 of us had either slightly different or totally different pies. All served with veg, chips ,mash etc. The pies were of a good size, and according to all in our group, tasted sublime. Piping hot and sumptuous. Mine was the Mustang, a Chilli pie of the most wonderful flavour, with a kick like a stallion. All good sized portions. I had veg and boiled potatoes with mine. Didn't manage the dessert menu. Great food with superb service, hot and delicious. We will certainly call in here again. A wonderful experience.

If you love pie, visit here. 52 varieties of pie to select from. The price isn't the cheapest but you definitely get sizable portions. Great selection of beers too including 3 Timothy Taylor's.

We visited whilst staying in Hummamby. The Piebald was recommended and we found menus in our holiday home. The staff were welcoming and friendly. A good selection of pies on the menu plus a good separate children's menu. A more than good size portion of pie which was really nice. Other than a bit of a long wait for food to arrive we had a great experience.

We visited for a late lunch recently and were very impressed with both the friendliness of the staff and the exceptional quality of the food. My wife and I had different meals from the extensive pie menu and both were excellent, pies jammed full of lean tasty chunks of beef, both pie and veg cooked perfectly. The pies were so filling we were unable to finish but they were so good that we asked for what remained to be boxed and taken away for us to eat later - no problem. We will visit again, but maybe work up more of an appetite and go later in the day - highly recommended.

Had an evenings stop over with friends room fine clean comfortable. The food was great had good quality pie excellent cheesecake and the breakfast was really enjoyable with quality products. The only downside was the fact we had not been told of the latest offer available when booking and therefore paid the full rate which is fine, but based on food and drink is in the region of Ā£60 more per couple. This will not stop me from going again but I will ask if they have any offers before confirming my booking.

We visited here for tea one evening while staying at The Bay in Filey. It was a really quick drive and very convenient for a good homemade meal. We went out of season, so it was very quiet. The service was great, and everyone was friendly. Not sure how busy it would actually be during holidays and peak times. The food was delicious and good portions. We tried the lamb and beef options. It is a traditional, homely pub inside which is nice. We did take our 21 month old who ate from the kids menu. They also have highchairs, which is good. The only slight thing I would point out was due to the time of year we went and the time, there were not many people eating at all. There were a few people drinking round the bar so it was very quiet. Obviously children can be unpredictable and chaotic so sometimes so I did feel conscious of my daughter making too much noise as we were sat very close to the bar, where people looked to just want to enjoy a drink. We did pre-book online. I think next time if we visit, I would request a seat around the corner, away from the bar.
