Sunday roast dinner is sensational!!!! Loved every mouthful. Couldnt resist the desserts. Staff are lovely. Live music so decided to stay, leave the car and walk back to the hotel.

First trip to The Crown for one of Dave's Supercar Sundays. Great hospitality by all of the staff. Only had a couple of coffees, but will definitely be back for food and drinks...
Lovely food, best burger I’ve had in a while at a pub. Friendly and attentive staff and also very fair prices for the large portions you’re getting.
Good selection of ales and beers as well so I will definitely be returning when I’m next around Hexham!
Enjoyed two evening meals here, Tuesday and Wednesday. Both were excellent, sesame chicken and madras chicken curry. Both brilliant value and massive portions. Staff throughout were excellent.

It's probably the best steak steak and ale pie I have ever had. Big chunks of quality beef in rich gravy. The pastry was nice and crispy, but not dry. The veg were fresh and crunchy
Lovely village pub and a friendly lady served us. We had brisket beef sandwiches with onion gravy and fries, wow! The beef was tender and perfectly cooked, four thick, tasty slices in each bun, it was absolutely delicious. So many fries we couldn't eat them all! Not a huge menu but a very good one,
Popped in on Sun afternoon with wife and son. My god the food was delicious and very reasonable too. Had the roast beef bap with fries and gravy. It was phenomenal. I live in Scotland but I will return!!
