Been coming here for years. The mixed grill is the star attraction and the bhajis are the best in town. The fish marsala, mixed tikka naan kebabs and lamb chops are also highly recommended but the best thing of all is the onions sizzling on the skillet with the juice from the meat. Great staff and great prices.

Nice place to for the indian to eat....biryani kebabas are awesome....personally i like to have lamb biryani....its tender and jus perfectly cooked with rice...some dishes on the menu are spicy hot do check before you order😄
Kebabish is the best place I would say where you get good food generally. .. known for their kebabs in the town less known to public about their vegetarian dishes. . Simply homely.. dal tarka I like it better than what is made at home.. aloo palak with ginger dressing on top is fantastic. . Good staff.. quick service too...

Food was cooked perfectly & the starter was absolutely beautiful.
The wrong meal was brought out first, but it was rectified in less than 2 minutes.

The food is nice, the service is fine, but they can improve the service. The place has veg and no veg menu as well.Overall, the restaurant is a good place for dining in.

Really nice nan kebabs and currys are absolutely gorgeous normally get 1 now and again after work also been inside very friendly staff I was gonna get some samosas but didn't because of the pricing

Great food at great prices, menu is varied and will suit any palette. Nice eating in experience too, with friendly staff.
It's a Huddersfield institution. You won't be disappointed with the food. For 5*, clean the toilets once in a while and remove the massive "CASH ONLY" sign on the counter (the have taken card for years they would just rather have cash)
Really enjoy the food and service at this place. Very reasonably priced too.
Decent restaurant with good varieties of arabic dishes. Shawarma was good along with the doner kebab and rice. Spice level was of medium range.

Kebabish Original Review
The Kebabish Original Restaurant Chain was founded in 1986 to create their own niche for healthy, flavoursome grilled food called the ‘Thrill of the Grill’, a food type enjoyed by all. They aim to serve some of the best Indian and Pakistani cuisines as well as mouth watering starters and grill food.
Their grill dishes have been inspired by the use of charcoal for cooking. The spices are sourced from all four corners of the world to give their food a truly unique and ‘moorish’ flavour.
We visited the branch in Huddersfield. The restaurant is located in the Town Centre, therefore all parking is Pay & Display.
The restaurant deco is a bit dated and old which could do with a upgrade. There is a good amount of seating available.
The menu is a large laminated sheet, with plenty of options for all including many vegetarian items.
For starters, we ordered the Chicken Pakoras which are succulent chicken pieces dipped in flavoured batter & deep fried. You can also add a portion of chips on the side. The pakoras tasted amazing.
For the mains, we chose the Shahi Naan Kebab. This comes with Chicken Tikka, Donner meat and Seekh Kebab. This was a great choice as we could try a bit of everything. It was all freshly cooked and tasted delicious.
We also got just the Lamb Donner kebab, this was just lamb donner but was a bit too much for our liking.
The Nan Kebabs came with a generous amount of salad and a fresh hot naan. At the table there are sauces to add to your naan kebabs such as yoghurt chutney, chilli sauce and ketchup. The portions are very generous and fulfilling!
All the food here is very reasonably priced and good value for money.
