I go here all the time when I'm in Huddersfield, the food you get here isn't available in most places I go here specifically for their lamb shank because it is absolutely magnificent it melts like butter in your mouth because it's slow cooked for hours on end. Get the chicken soup, mix veg side dish and a lamb shank which is served with rice you will love it I guarantee you. If you look at my pictures you wont need to read this. This is a simple restaurant set near the city centre don't be expecting to visit the Taj Mahal these guys make awesome food the decor doesn't even matter when the food is so good π

First time ordering and my god, was it worth it! The meats were tender, juicy and full of flavour. The rice was beautiful and the potatoes were yummy. One of the best cheap eats in Huddersfield, definitely recommend getting the lamb shank with beans.
Complimentary lentil or lamb soup on arrival, i have ordered Lamb Qozi (Kurdish traditional food), really delicious with large portions, the service was quick and friendly, Highly recommended.

If you keen on Kurdish food, try this restaurant. The meat lamb is juicy and tender. Don't forget to ask for the free soup. I always go for the lamb soup.
Had lunch at Kobane with a few friends. As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed and offered a choice of soups: lamb, chicken, and another. We chose lamb and it was absolutely delicious.
After browsing through the menu, we chose the kobane special (Β£10.00) - it came with rice, nan, and meat, plus a selection of sauces including creamed spinach, okra, and eggplant. Another very yummy meal. I chose to have mine with the traditional tea. Generally, I had a great experience here, and appreciated how affordable the food was. The only problem we encountered was how cold the restaurant felt, but the waitress kindly switched on the heating for us.
Soup (2 options to choose from) as soon as you arrive, followed by a side ( 4 options to choose from) and your main meal, I normally get lamb cozy (picture attached) and a drink. Lamb always so tender and juicy with fresh rice and a naan bread. All this for only Β£8.50.
I will be happy to pay 3 time more for that kind of quality food.

Very good food. Large servings of Lamb meat. Side dishes were massive as well. Good friendly service. The seating area is ok. Not too fancy.
