We are a regular visitors to the farm shop and cafe .
We always receive great food both in the shop and the restaurant the prices are great and the staff are always friendly and helpful
The home made pork pies are a special treat with thin crust and succulent meat !!
Lovely breakfast, very tasty, staff friendly, toilets immaculate...only one recommendation, put the toast on a side plate with butter portions, a lot of people like to have dry toast...
Will come again, miles better than bolster moor food 😃😃😃
Despite entering the shop and seeing a queue of four deep, we were quickly moving into our seats. Good sized place, not too overwhelming like other places we have been (farm shops) staff very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast... To die for! We will be back. Thank ypu
Visited a friend for the afternoon and had lunch here. ‘‘Twas reet grand. Hot beef sandwich went down a treat. Staff where rather jovial too. They even give me a recommendation on the other side of the hill i.e. Lancashire. This place is certainly worth a visit.
We had lunch due to anither well known farm shop not being able to seat us. First time I have been here and was pleasantly surprised. Lovely venue, great staff, quality food. We weren’t the easiest if customers in view of dietary requests but the young lady who served us was very obliging and helpful. I will definitely come again and bring friends and family.
Visited Thorncliffe on a Sunday morning. Arrived at 10.15 and place was already full but within 10 minutes the three of us were sat down. The Farmhouse Breakfast we all ordered was superb! Food came piping hot after around a 10-15 minute wait but was well worth the wait. Our first visit but definitely not our last. Well worth the 20 mile journey.
Great farm shop, fresh local produce, added bonus of the tea room, arena hire and beautiful surroundings.
Popped into cafe staff were great and the food was amazing, quiet regular to the shop itself best ham and pork pies around always great service
Lovely cafe best breakfast ever I live in Shipley but have always gone to Thorncliffe for my meat great local products and lovely staff I cannot fault them
Delicious, beef burger was amazing with home made chips and gravy I knicked of the other half was to die for! Spoilt for choice with the range of cakes. Will definitely be returning, for a full breakfast next time
I live just round the corner from the farmshop so a regular visitor to the butchers and farmshop cafe.
Met my friend there yesterday for breakfast and a catch up and left nearly 2 hours later as it's such an relaxing atmosphere.
All staff are lovely and friendly and good is amazing x
Being from a country background, I wanted to go to a local farm shop in Yorkshire, so my friends recommended I visit here. It did not disappoint.
I first went to the cafe where I was seated in front of a large window with an almost panoramic view across the farms and the nearby towns. I chose to have the warm carrot and coriander soup and a sausage roll, a cappuccino with oat milk was on the cards to wash it down.
After ordering at the till there wasn't much time to wait before the coffee arrived. The coffee was perfect temperature and was really smooth and rich in flavour. The roll and the soup came out together soon after. The soup came out a little too hot and needed quite some time to cool which is my only criticism with the experience. The soup was fresh and the roll was well filled. My preference would have been to have the roll filling a little bit more corse but this did not affect the flavour in the slightest and the pastry held up to be flaky.
After the cafe I headed to the main shop which I found was well stocked and had a bit of everything you may want. The vegetables looked fresh and clean. The meat was weighed to order. There was a wide selection of bakes, pastry and other treat goods. I ordered a bit of each section and felt I paid a fair price.
Overall, I really liked it and will be back.
We live in Hertfordshire but we love our regular visits to Thorncliffe Farm Shop during our regular visits to Yorkshire. We always stock up on meat from the excellent butcher’s department and the pies are outstanding always fully filled and delicious, including both the fruit and meat varieties. It’s well located with plenty of parking. Staff are always very friendly and helpful.
Fantastic food served here, absolutely love it! It’s worth paying a little extra for some decent food and this place does not disappoint.
Staff are super friendly, very helpful. You won’t be disappointed by the range of menu available.
Good farmshop with ample parking, selection of freshly baked and frozen food available. Pleasant restaurant attached to it with a good range of food and great views if you can get the right table.
Had a beef Yorkshire pudding wrap and it was the best Yorkie I've ever had. The chips were stunning too. Shame I live in Norfolk as I'd be visiting frequently. Staff were super nice and the prices are reasonable. 100% recommend
This was my first time going and certainly won't be my last.
Beautiful place and a great selection of raw and cooked foods.
The lad on the butchers counter was very helpful in getting what I needed.
I even picked up a couple of pork pies for a cheeky lunch
Everything looks great, I'd already been to the supermarket so only picked up a couple of bits, but
The pork pies are delicious
The cooked ham is great
And the unsmoked bacon from the counter was amazing, no horrible white stuff came out.
Will be going back to try more. Also it's really good value compared to other farm shops I've visited.
There was also a few sheep to say hello to by the car park.
A beautiful farm shop and cafe in the middle of nowhere, like a mirage, it is a welcome sight for a weary traveller. Lovely vanilla slice and iced coffee. Views of the farms and communication mast all around you. Some specific products you won't find anywhere else.
Friendly staff, great produce, hopefully I'll have a more time to look around next time I visit.
Update, I've been back, I spent more than half an hour wandering around putting things in my basket but still feel I've barely scratched the surface of what is available in the shop. Still need more time and more revisits.
Great shop.
This famr shop is just down road from.my.mum n dad's. I count this place among my paradises the food is just gorgeous the range is nothing short of fantastic plus they even do huge pies for catering events cooked fresh. My favourites are definitely the pork pies which come with various flavours. The fresh meat range is also excellent Well worth a visit.
