First time visiting here & have to say great place. Staff are polite & friendly. Sat in the restaurant area & it was really nice. I got the fillet steak with peppercorn sauce which was all perfect but the peppercorn sauce was only warm & had a skin sat on top so was clearly just sat & microwaved but
Had the pleasure of eating at the Nags Head recently, if I could give more than 5 stars I would! Brilliant food, very well priced. Portion sizes were great. A lovely atmosphere, staff were very attentive and went above and beyond. Drinks were also lovely - would highly recommend.
Went midweek and the food service and the place was lovely so went back today and same experience deffinetley recommended.
Decided to stop off here for dinner when we drove into a traffic jam on m62. Wow! What a stunning place inside! Staff are polite and attentive and served some of the best food we have had in a VERY long time! Prices here are slightly above average, but you certainly get your money’s worth in quality

The staff were great - especially Heather and Kira. So kind to my very ill brother. We ate three times - my husband and I had drinks and nibbles on May 3 (good value); family dinner May 4, and again May 5
As we sat outside we couldn't really get a feel for the atmosphere, but the bar service was good...quick, efficient and very friendly. Ordered food outside using the app and, again, table service was excellent. Ordered 2 roast dinners which were very good and the garlic and cheese baked mushrooms...
Food was delicious and served promptly, drinks were good, staff were friendly and service was good. Loved that you could get your own dog water and treats available. Nice vibe and decent price for 4 persons - even had the app so managed to get a discount too which is great to have those rewards!
Staff and service was great. Did was spot on, drinks were good. I would suggest that breakfast was offered to hotel guests with an agreement similarly to other chains as the hotel offers a breakfast roll. Although adequate, a sit down breakfast in the pub would be better.
Great selection of foods on the menu, service was great and staff friendly. Lovely bug building whilst still being comfy and cosy feel to it. Good value for money, and I had a lovely passion fruit cocktail as well.
We enjoyed a great meal, Leah our waitress was sooo lovely & friendly & made us feel really welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent. I only marked atmosphere down by a star as the room felt cold.
We had an amazing experience here and had a lovely meal. Heather was looking after us, she was always on the ball and asking us if we wanted more drinks and was recommending things on the menu and the food was delicious. Will definitely be coming back
Had such a lovely night last night with my family. Leah was our waitress and was an absolute gem! We were always made sure we had drinks and were happy with everything, what a credit to the team!

Great Sunday roast! All food was hot, freshly cooked and well presented. Friendly service from the staff. Furniture is a bit old and tired compared to other Vintage Inns I've visited but overall atmosphere was nice and cosy.
Good food with generous portions, extensive menu and friendly service. Would be a 5 but felt it was a little overpriced. Apart from that lovely decor and location so will happily be returning!
Stayed at hotel next door, booked table for 2 . Good welcome, beer and food. Very accommodating with food requirements. Would recommend both hotel And the nags head.
Fantastic food, especially the Honey pot pudding. The staff especially Heather, were amazing and knowledgeable on food products and nothing was too much. Thank you for a great end to the weekend! Would highly recommend and easy to travel to location.
Had a lovely meal at Nags head, a great choice of food and the service was excellent. We were served by a young waitress called Leah who couldn’t do enough to ensure we were happy. We will be visiting again soon.
