Absolutely fabulous place and location. From the minute we booked in to when we left the staff were fantastic. Rooms very clean and all you needed was provided. Food delicious and well presented. Fantastic atmosphere. Will definitely go back for another stay. I hope they keep doing what they do
Hotel was clean, tidy and well presented.
We had booked 2 rooms as we were visiting family for an evening event over the road in the Garden Room.
We were able to check in earlier than 3pm as the rooms were ready.
We were in rooms #5 and #8 and both overlooked the front of the Inn and main road bu
I recently photographed at wedding at the Woodman Inn and can only say positive things about the venue and how good it was to shoot at.
The Garden Room is nestled away from the main Inn and is surrounded by woodland and streams, it's a lovely place to have a wedding and would highly recommend.

Stopped by for an impromptu lunch and it was amazing. Great service and awesome food.
Sat next to a lively real fire which made the experience more enjoyable. I would definitely be back for more soon.
We had a lovely meal here for a family birthday and couldn’t have had a better experience. Food was exceptional and the staff were even better. A credit to the area.

A lovely place in a beautiful setting. Peter who was at the desk when we arrived was an excellent host and ensured that we had everything required for our stay overnight. He honestly made our stay so welcoming.

Stayed in a room in a separate building on the opposite side of the road. It's been converted from an stone cottage and done well. Our room had a view out over a stream - v. pleasant. Main issue preventing 5 stars is the sound proofing: other guests coming and going and snoring from the room above v
