Love the fact it's under a church. Everytime I go to huddersfield now I always end up having my lunch there. Plus I've found that on Saturdays after twelve they have some old guy play piano and it's actually quite soothing and different to have lunch with a bit of jazz in the background lol would definitely recommend!!!

Best place to eat in town, every meal we've had has been delicious, they have the friendliest staff and reasonable price. We are regulars here since we discovered it last year. The atmosphere is great, even when it's busy. Food is served quickly and the menus are full of goodies. Desserts are fab and portions are generous, sometimes we struggle to make room for them! If we are ever hungry in town this is where we go, and would recommend it to anyone.

Lovely breakfast this morning nicely cooked and hot. Great service seated quickly and order taken by fantastic waiting staff. Coffee brought quick and decent cuppa. Not the cheapest but I had just half an hour before my train and this quirky place met all requirements. Nice venue in the basement of a church with open kitchen and separate drinks area.

Really enjoyed the afternoon tea - great value for the £9.99 offer. Not been to Huddersfield for 15yrs plus - attentive service from a man called Jason i think (dressed in black). Will look to come again - and have already recommended to a friend.

Marvellous place for a meal or afternoon tea in Huddersfield town centre. It's located in the crypt of a church and fairly popular throughout the day. The large breakfast and cappuccino I got was really tasty. They have entertainment evenings with meal included throughout the year. It's also got a shop and toilets. The staff are very pleasant and efficient.

I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast here with friends, the food was great and the atmosphere is quite different being in a crypt beneath a church. The vaulted stone ceiling gives the place a beautifully gothic ambiance. The staff were friendly and the prices are reasonable considering the current inflationary climate. I would visit here again

On our first visit here we enjoyed an excellent lunch. We had fish and chips followed by tiramisu. Returned for an afternoon tea which was magnificent and quite substantial - a selection of sandwiches, home made scones and cakes with a choice of tea or coffee and a glass of Prosecco. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Always enjoy visiting The Keys. Fine food in a crypt, what more can one ask for? We had tea and a bacon sarnie to share. Excellent smiling service and fair prices. A spacious place with wonderful vaulted ceilings. We shall be back.

Had a shared afternoon tea that was pre booked. The waitress tried very hard to upsell at least 3 more options to what we ordered which I found embarrassing as one of the party was being gifted this treat. The next embarrassing moment came when the clotted cream was all used up by one person when only one small pot is included on the platter for 2 people, we all expected a pot each as it was easily used up on one scone. You did get a jam pot each.. For £25 for 2 it was ok but for the sake of another pot of clotted cream and a proper pot of tea rather than a half filled glass of earl grey ( don't know why they thought that was a good way to serve it?, Once the teabag was removed I only had half the amount left to drink and I wasn't offered anymore.

Excellent location in the crypt of the Church. Called in for a coffee and late breakfast. Really pleased with the place. Extensive modern menu and wines selection. Piano music at times too. Check it out.. well worth a look. Pretty Church upstairs too. Open to the public.

We booked for afternoon tea which was delicious and plentiful. All the finger sandwiches were freshly made and the little cups of delicious soup were piping hot. All finished off with cakes, scones and other sweet items. We couldn't manage to eat it all so it was boxed up for us to bring home. There was an offer on their FB page .....All this for £16.95. This was not our 1st visit to the Keys and I have to say they serve fabulous food and have great staff x

A real hidden gem! The atmosphere is lovely, situated in the crypts below Huddersfield Parish Church creates a cozy space for a relaxed brunch. There is also seating outside with great views of the church itself. The food was gorgeous, and reasonably priced for a luxury experience. There's a great range of food suitable for any meal, breakfast, brunch, lunch, even afternoon tea! They also have a little food shop in the entrance with local brands of sweets, biscuits and various jams and sauces.
