Food was lovely and quite reasonable! Had the beef Sunday roast and really enjoyed it ! The raspberry cheesecake was also fantastic! Only gripe been the drink prices !! 8 quid for a glass of wine and £6 for a pint of Guinness is the most expensive I've encountered in the west Yorkshire area ! Inside could do with a revamp as it is very dated but the views are good the food and service tip top just the drink prices that are way to steep

I dare anyone to say they have a bad meal here, the food is epic. Absolutely 1st class. £16.00 will get you top restaurant quality food, these guys know how to cook.
Update:sept 23. The best just got better, the beef and the fish, as walk-ins (didn't book) amazing. The beef was perfect, the fish cooked to perfection. These guys know how to cook.
Really good traditional pub food, nice atmosphere, this is more of an eatery than a pub as the bar area is small. Staff are friendly, good good, nice beer, great views and a superb way to spend an afternoon after a walk around the local area... Not bad to nip in to for a quick bar snack and a pint also.
Popped in for a bite to eat with family last minute.
The food was great and the service was excellent. 3 of us had the Pizzas and we would recommend them and the Garlic Chicken was lovely.
Will be going back again to try some more of the Pizzas 🍕 😋

Been coming here for year's. Had a Christmas meal here, very good excellent quality, friendly staff.
Food is great, service has been hit and miss over the years, but generally good. Limited dr now on tap, but that's down to my preference. Fairly good selection of spirits and wines. Worth a visit.
Only called by for a couple of pints, because we were outside with our pony and carriage. Served well by the new barperson.
I love the top quality food served here, really enjoy the Sunday Lunch which is excellent value for money. Will be back many more times.

They are open and are as good as ever. The food in this pub is amazing. Everything on the menu is so well prepared and tasty. Your only problem is what to choose: the pork, the beef or perhaps the chicken ( my personal favourite). If you only want a light snack try the hot beef sandwich or my husband's favourite, Yorkshire pudding with vegetables. We have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. The view from the pub is stunning. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
Bit old fashioned and limited veggie food but the goats cheese tart was delicious. The veg and potatoes that comes with it though a little boring and plain. But fine if you like that kind of thing. They weren't over cooked which was good. The old fashioned puddings were a hit with my family and yummy! Rolypoly and proper sticky toffee pudding! And custard!
Lovely pub with amazing views. Comfortable furnishings and very clean. Have been to The Golcar Lily many times over the years and the staff are always very friendly and helpful, Daryll, the owner/chef always treats the customers like personal friends. The menu, though not extensive is wide ranging and beautifully cooked. Would recommend The Golcar Lily without a second thought.

Fantastic place for Sunday lunch, great staff and excellent menu. One of our absolute fave places for a relaxing afternoon. We have been quite a few times now and we plan to go again.
