Visited a friend yesterday with my sister and his Mum. We were treated to a lovely Sunday lunch. Really good food and the chef should win a prize for roast potatoes! Great freshly cooked food and a lovely pub with good service.

Went for Lunch on Saturday with the family consisting of 8 people. Food was superb and very friendly staff. Would highly recommend.
Very 1st time in this establishment, absolutely amazingly gorgeous food, where u can enjoy each tasty morsel from start to finish and the pork belly and black pudding for starters was so divine.
We will definitely be back here again in the quaint decor for the amazingly cooked roast beef and chicken dinners, even the staff couldn't do enough.

Had Sunday dinner today...5 different meals & each one was excellent.
Norwegian brother in law was blown away with the roast beef & yorkshire pudding. Highly recommended π

Such a lovely village pub. Me and my family was passing by and called in for some food this afternoon, the staff was really friendly, especially the girl with the black hair which served us βΊοΈ food was very very tasty and really good value for the money ! Me and my husband both had steaks which were cooked to perfection ! I will defiantly be back !
5 of us were dining early evening.. one vegetarian dinner
2 chicken dinners a gammon dinner and a beef dinner..
Every plate ..besides being really full.. was empty ...
Even our Norwegian guest had two extra Yorkshire Puds..

Great burgers! Especially enjoyed the blue cheese burger. Also cracking specials on the weekends. Comfortable, inviting environment and lovely accommodating staff.

A proper English pub, lovely bar staff, excellent beer, and friendly locals.
On top of that the food is excellent, cooked to order and great quality.
Long may proper pubs survive.
