The bakehouse bosses and staff had our Christmas do last night at Cafe Venezia and I have to say the atmosphere was lovely! The singer was great.
The staff was brilliant, service was spot on.
All in all, we had a fab night!

had a lovely hour or so at this delightful cafe. superb coffee and the most delicious chocolate cake (which we later discovered was gluten free0. it has a lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and is not expensive. i would highly recommend

what a delightful place to sit and relax your time away drinking fantastic coffee and fine tea ! also just found the caffe has a bar at the far end , we had a wonderful time drinking sparkling wine and Champagne with our friends ! a truly hidden treasure with so much more to offer than the other high street coffee shops I used to frequent.!

Came in today with my fella and the food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. And the thick hot chocolate was a dream. The staff are polite and welcoming. Highly recommended!
I've been to Caffe Venecia on several occasions, lovely atmosphere and amazing coffee. Praise to the staff today for handling a rude customer appropriately when she shouted out that she "couldn't sit inside because what that woman is doing is disgusting and shouldn't be allowed" That disgusting woman was me discreetly breastfeeding my 12 week old baby! Great place to enjoy your drink and bite to eat. Good choice of teas, cakes and sandwiches. Great atmosphere with lovely music in the back ground and friendly staff. Well worth a visit!

Very nice new cafe in Huddersfield . Welcoming staff and an excellent hot chocolate . They have s huge range of teas which I will come back to try and some very reasonably priced food . It has tasteful decor and a relaxing feel too.
Popped in this morning to wait for my niece who was taking her theory test in the building across the road. I ordered an ice coffee and a panini and the price was reasonable for the quality, it was lovely! Also the man in charge (I think) was so friendly and he even went to sit at customers tables and had a chat with his regulars which I thought was lovely. Will definitely go back.

This place was recommended by a friend, who's judgment is less than reliable. But you've all heard the phrase, a stopped clock is right twice a day. 😀 It's fab, great quality, service and attention to detail. Plus there's no riff raff 👍

Absolutely fantastic !!!!! There aren't enough stars to say how great the food, atmosphere and especially the service actually are. BRILLIANT!!!!!!!! The next time I'm in Huddersfield it'll be my first port of call.

Only passing by to get to the Golden Arches for a quick breakfast on Monday, but this small cafe caught my eye and so I popped in. The staff were all very friendly and a menu was concise enough for there to be a range of options without making a book as some places do. I ordered a full English with a hot chocolate. The full English is clearly no Wetherspoons, the food taste fresh and was presented in a sharp manner. This high level of presentation also presented itself in the simple but gorgeous hot chocolate. The cup presented with the handle to the left side with the logo napkin underneath facing perfectly towards me with a long handled teaspoon laid neatly beside. When I looked elsewhere when others received their drink the same applied.
And for the atmosphere, classic songs from Aretha Franklin and James Brown and many more played, of which an era that I love.
The food is fresh and of top quality.
The staff are well mannered, well trained and have a smile with all they do.
The music matches perfectly.
What more could a customer ask.
I will be visiting again very soon.

Australian couple and infant here. We felt really comfortable in this lovely cafe, meeting lovely locals and staff. The coffee and cakes were delicious, but most of all we just enjoyed being there. A credit to Huddersfield and I hope we can return sooner rather than later. XO.

Genuinely the best food I've actually had in a while. I got the Italian toasted bagel. My dad got a breakfast and my mom got an omelette.
Food:
Genuinely a taste of heaven. Nicest food I've ever eaten. I enjoyed it so much. The salad is nice the coleslaw was delicious. The Italian toasted bagel was so nice. If was probably the best part of the meal. I enjoyed it so much.
Atmosphere:
It's peaceful and calm and relaxing there. The music is good and enjoyable. Not much more to add.
Staff:
Staff are nice. No rudeness or anything.

Really love this cafe. The food and drinks are really delicious, with a great selection for people with various dietary preferences. All staff were also really friendly, and there's a great comfortable atmosphere that makes this place a must-visit in Huddersfield.
They have some scrumptious-looking cakes, which sets them apart from most cafes in Huddersfield.
Drinks are always great too!
Staff are always happy, especially the short blonde girl who always has a smile on her face!
