My family and friends came here for Sunday lunch and we all like the Sunday roast alot. I think it's the best Sunday roast I have had so far. Soft meat, well roasted sweet veg and the gravy is fabulous (I like thick gravy). Really enjoyed the meal and will come back. Highly recommened

Great pub with the right mix of local ales, draught beers and fantastic food. On a recent visit with my other half and our 3 year old we had kids fish and chips, beef & ale pie and the local sausage and chips. Great food, friendly staff and somewhere we love to visit on a regular basis.

This venue is very good for local cooked food in the Huddersfield area. It is a bit of a distance from the town centre but the food quality is of a high standard. We have been twice now, as only recently moved into Meltham nearby. Both times food was brilliant and the service (Eleanor/Helena) has been excellent. Today was particularly good. My wife and kids had sunday roast- salmon and beef respectively - and I had the chicken and mushroom pie; was unreal.
