Excellent, totally excellent, beautiful food, friendly staff, chicken tikka starter, chicken madras mains for me, fish tikka starter and chicken Kharai for wife, naan breads each, Ice cream deserts for us both and a bottle of very nice red wine, £42 .... .. was expecting to pay half as much again, quality usually comes with a price but was impressed with the food and more impressed with the bill. Thank you Gurkha sizzler and many thanks to Sonya and her staff.
Highly recomended, will tell everyone we know in Huddersfield about this real gem.
Nice little restaurant. First time there yesterday and definitely wasn’t disappointed. Food was delicious. Staff friendly attentive but not overbearing. You were left to enjoy your meal. They were quick to attend to anything you needed tho. Can’t fault it from start to finish and excellent value for lovely food. Definitely recommend and we will return �

We've had take aways from here and decided last night to go and eat in, we were not disappointed!! The restaurant is very nicely decorated with the tables not too close together. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful with nothing being too much trouble. The food was amazing and so reasonably priced!! Will definitely be back and cannot recommend enough x
Went for a joint family birthday. I have nothing but good things to say about the food and the service. Lovely food, freshly and promptly cooked, and the staff were wonderful, both attentive and knowledgeable about the food. We had a great time, would definitely go again.

First time tonight and was pleasantly surprised, quite a small place, but spotless throughout. Staff were very friendly with a bit of banter, and very attentive. Food was superb, and I was very surprised with the the mushroom pilau rice because that was as tasty as a main course in itself. All in all, we will be back, not surprised this little gem is #1 on Trip Advisor for Huddersfield Indian meals (on the search) �

This is the first time ive been went with my wife her son and my twin and her husband ,I do go to indian restaurant's quite a lot this was the best indian food ive had for quite a long time keep up the good work I live in Lancashire visit Huddersfield real ale pubs quite a lot next time I go again to Huddersfield I will call again

It was rainy day. Me and MY friend went to this restaurant when we go inside the atmosphere was very good fill with melodious music with warm environment and the outdoor staff welcome us with lovely smile, they took us on the table and described about the menu and the price of restaurant was good better than other restaurants who overcharged ,despite the restaurant was very busy there were two staff and they handled very well . We took very famous Gurkha beer as a drink and we had momo as a starter and mix sizzler as a main dish. This was worth it to eat. I suggest every one to eat and definitely visiting again.

This is a a very unique Curry experience in Huddersfield. The food is delicious and you have to try the Mo Mo's to start!! We were a party of 9. We we greeted and hosted with wonderful staff who are helpful patient and above all else full of smiles.

The Service of Hotel is excellent food is very delicious and hotel is very neat and clean , even the staff is very supportive/helpful. The location of Hotel is in most favorable place with peaceful environment. Food is very healthy. I would like to recommend to my friends and family members to visit this place once.
This was a lovely place to go. The food was really nice and tasty. I will definitely go back again to try something else of the menu. I would recommend trying here. Went back here again was lovley again.
This is the second time we have ordered from here, and the quality of food is absolutely excellent. Definitely a cut above the average takeaway curry! All fresh ingredients, including fresh spices, and nothing out of a tin as far as we could tell. Last night, a meat eater, a vegetarian and a vegan all enjoyed their choices immensely!
Only one minor grumble, which may be the fault of the Just Eat information: the veg Momo dumplings, advertised as vegan, have paneer (cheese) in them.

Gurka Sizzler is a small restaurant close to the Huddersfield bus station. Parking is in the paid car parks adjacent to the restaurant. Under new management the food quality has not suffered. The menu and style of cooking is based on the north west traditions of India. Some vegetables seem as if they were frozen prior to cooking rather than from fresh. The spices are well rounded without excessive use of chillies. Prices are of the order of £20 per head but rise with alcoholic drinks. There is a desserts menu but these are mostly cold and again based on traditional sweets. For those who don't want to challange their palate there is a limited english menu including for children. Take away and home delivery options are available.

This is rhe 2nd tike ive ordered from here and wow. Really reasonable prices, stunning, stunning food. Literally perfectly cooked, bursting with flavours, super fast depivery on JE, staff lovely and piping hot.
The 1st time was great. This evening was better. Restaurant quality, and superb quality at that, delivered to your door.
I have no invested intrest in in even leaving a review, but do believe in credit where its due and as this made my evening, hopefully this will make theirs. Cheers. James

That was not only by far the best Indian and Nepalese I’ve ever had but one of the best meals out I’ve ever had. Thé restaurant was clean and beautiful the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was sensational can’t wait to be back Huddersfield again so we can eat there highly recommend
