Where do I start, back in October I decided to hire the function room for a afternoon tea baby shower for a good friend, I rang the tea room to see if the date was free where I was greeted with a very friendly member of staff who was very helpful and told me everything I needed to know, a few weeks later I called to hand the deposit s in and again the lady was very helpful and the place looked absolutely lovely from deco to the cakes. Yesterday was the baby shower I was a little nervous but once I arrived the owner and staff was amazing the room was warm and welcoming the food and service was fantastic, thank you to all involved for making Katies baby shower a day to remember I really am grateful xxx
Lovely staff. Loved the deco! Cakes were to die for. Tea was one of nicest I've had. Definitely going to be a regular stop off point! Thankyou for the fab service, and see you next time!

Lovely decor industrial meets Laura Ashley , very friendly staff. I booked a table for the special afternoon tea for our wedding anniversary possibly the nicest cup of earl grey I've ever had, nice range of sandwiches, scones, cakes and Eton mess. I've a feeling the menu said bruschetta which wasn't there but there was more than plenty of other goodies for two. Will definitely be back
Had lunch here on Friday,it was really lovely.The decor is great,with a very rustic feel.The staff are lovely,particularly Blythe who is very welcoming& chatty-he's great.
We were served quickly&the food was delicious-I had frittata,baked potato&salad with coleslaw that was gorgeous.My mum had a crayfish sandwich&salad which was equally good.
All in all a really nice lunch&can't wait to go again!

This is a lovely place to relax, the drinks and food menu is extensive and tempting and the staff were attentive and excellent.

We came today for the first time for afternoon tea (4 adults, 2 children and a baby) the table was all set up ready & waiting with a high chair. The afternoon tea was fab and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely be back x

Fab place, visited with my Wife and two young kids. Staff were warm and welcoming and food was lovely. The afternoon tea was great and very filling. Will definitely visit again if in the area.

Highly recommend for brunch/lunch. Had the goats cheese, beets and poached egg on sourdough. Daughter had the special sandwich of the day. Both fresh ingredients and very flavoursome. Yum. Nice choice not too overwhelming and great selection of hot and cold drinks. (Coffees and speciality teas etc) Beautiful cakes and brownies. We had the chocolate orange and pistachio.

Enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea at one of our favourite cafes, after deciding to try it for our annual festive treat. Lovely service (including a courtesy call the day before to check our dietary requirements). Simple, fresh sandwiches, interesting warm savoury tarts, melt in the mouth fresh, warm blueberry scones (with clotted cream and jam ;)) and an dinky selection of mini cheesecake, macarons, carrot cake and a zesty tart with a sprinkling of fresh fruit. All accompanied with lovely cuppas. We weren't rushed and, aside from it being a little noisy as the place was busy all afternoon, we'd a great time.
The menu looked simple but when the food arrived oh wow! It not only looked good but it tasted amazing. I could taste good quality . The seating was good. Met with a few friends for breakfast. A bit pricier but sometimes it's good to pay a bit more to eat nice and good quality food. I hope they serve fried eggs in future or otherwise I can't go with my children.
The best place (and basically only place) in Huddersfield BY FAR to get brunch/breakfast/lunch. Food is always amazing and coffee is the best I’ve tasted in town. Staff are super friendly and always greet you with a smile. Always go back again and again.
The breakfast we had was very good, service was really good and staff were welcoming. Although the pancakes werent that fluffy they were still nice. And the vegan Falafel open wrap was pleasantly suprisingly good. The hot chocolate was also a good hot drink and the coffee was good too. The blueberry scones are also a good item on the menu and goes well with the jam and cream.
Visited yesterday with my friend and 3 month old son - I had my pushchair / pram with me. Although busy the staff were great, we had to wait around ten minutes for a space to come available that would fit my pram in, and the space was perfect for a pram! The food is amazing here, prices are good, coffee made well. I had a scone with jam and cream with a flat white which was really nice. The only thing I’d say is the toilets need cleaning more often.
Beautiful place. Staff are super friendly and they have the best eggs Benedict around! Moved away from the area now but we always make sure to stop by when we're visiting family.

Love the Northern Tea House! This is a lovely quirky place to sit and have breakfast, brunch or lunch. Staff were attentive, polite and friendly. Highly recommended, this place is worth the visit.

Eaten and drank here so many times that I can't even count anymore. Their chai latte far exceeds any other chai I've tried anywhere else.
The food is always so tasty and presented so beautifully.
And the staff are always so sweet and friendly.

Very comfortable place. Excellent and generous food. Coffees and teas from locals are superb. Very friendly and helpful service. Just a tiny bit noisy when full! Can't wait to come up North and visit again!
The staff were nice and friendly the place has a nice atmosphere, but a little cold, it could have been a bit warmer. The coffee was fine ,the food tasted lovely nice crispy bacon with my eggs benedict. The only down side was that it wasn't hot, this could have improved by serving hot food on a hot plate, rather than on a cold plate.
Had a lovely late lunch here on a Friday afternoon. Food and coffee were really good, as was the service! Definitely visit again.
