Enjoyed a really nice lunch here. It was pet friendly, and the staff were very friendly. I had the Vegan Cassoulet. It was nice to get something vegan that wasn't just another burger.
The chips were great as well. Very Belgian :)
Lovely little place to have a few Belgian beers. The staff were friendly and attentive. Although the menu was limited due to Covid the Bitterballen and Frites were delectable. I must try the Moules Frites next time.
Really authentic feeling Belgian restaurant. Food was great, service was quick and friendly. The best beer menu I've seen outside of Belgium, with several available on draft.
We travelled some distance to visit, but it was well worth the trip.
Best pub in Hoylake by far. Great continental atmosphere, authentic and delicious Flemish cuisine and a wide selection of premium continental beers, including the elusive Westvleteren collection.
Amazingly good. Comprehensive menu of Belgian beer, good food, wonderful attentive staff. Covid Secure AF.
Great place! Outside seating but inside it looks nice and cozy as well. Friendly staff, about 6 pages full of Belgian (style) beers and proper "bitterballen", a Dutch/Belgian snack I missed since moving to the UK. Will definitely come back more often.
Great selection of bottled beer an entire book of a menu... No cider sadly but very friendly staff and if love craft ale and beers particularly the strong Belgium ones this is the place
Amazing home cooked food. Seriously under priced!
Excellent beer selection and perfect ambience.
First time here on the recommendation of a friend and I wasn't disappointed. Lovely atmosphere, great music and the food was fabulous! Staff were very attentive without being fussy and lots of smiley faces from them on a cold and wet Tuesday evening, so top marks. Oh yes and the beer, I tried them all on a tasting platter, it was just like being back in Belgium which I know quite well.
The Beer selection is fabulous, there is even a separate menu just for the beer. The staff are really friendly and welcoming.
The food is generally lovely, the thing that pulls it down is the fact that some of it is far too salty, further enhanced by the fact that is is garnished with rock salt. Hopefully this gets addressed but it wont stop me going in for the beer.
