First time here and we picked 3 tapas dishes and wow they didn't disappoint! One of the best tapas I've had especially the calamari.
Perfect outdoor seating under a shelter along with plenty of indoor space. Monte Carlo is also dog friendly. Chilled atmosphere and comfortable seating.
The two staff members were brilliant, polite and helpful. The restaurant inside and was was very clean. I highly recommended this place and we'll be going again.
Had a fantastic meal here this afternoon. Helen and her team were extremely professional and attentive. The food was beautiful- everything cooked perfectly and very high quality. Good selection of wine and excellent tapas! What a gem to stumble across on a day trip out - will certainly return. Thank you!
Had my husband's 60th in the room upstairs for 26 people the service and food was excellent and everyone enjoyed themselves

Delicious food, had the seafood and the vegetarian sharing platters, plus some other bits, and all of it was so good! Especially the truffle fries! We also really enjoyed the cocktail special, 'You Make me Blush'.
Came for lunch while visiting my nan nearby, and eating here made us feel like we were on holiday again (the sunny weather obviously helped!) Will absolutely be back next time we're in the area!

Called into Monte Carlo for a coffee due to not much open on a slow Winter Sunday. What a treat, we had Coffee and Pizza due to the half price offer. Lovely welcoming staff and tasty pizza. We live in Southport so won’t be regulars as just out for a walk somewhere different but will certainly call in when in Hoylake again.
We had 5 dishes for £26, which was perfect for the 2 of us.
Brie wedges, green beans, mini fish and chips, white bait and chicken chorizo skewers.
All but the skewers were light, fresh and tasty and I'd recommend.
Draught beer was great and the service was good.

Staff friendly and helpful and really good value for money. Food delicious and plentiful, tapas actually better than in Spain.
Three of us dined here two nights ago. It was pretty much empty and lacked buzz but the tapas we ordered were well cooked and plentiful. Bring your own tartare sauce!
When we arrived at our hotel at 6 p.m. on Saturday, we checked our restaurant reservation (confirmed by phone and email) and were told that they had decided to close the restaurant for the evening.
Hayley had a single table available at the Monte Carlo because of a no-show. The food was excellent, the service attentive without being obtrusive and the price was good.
We were glad that the hotel chose to do what it did because we had a better meal in the Monte Carlo. There will not be a choice when we are next in the area, and we would recommend this restaurant unreservedly.
Lovely place to eat, great staff. Really friendly and helpful. Prices are very reasonable. £10 Tuesday's are a great bargain too!
Delicious Italian restaurant within a romantic setting and a beautiful traditional shop building. Staff are friendly and helpful, there's outdoor seating with patio heaters and blankets to keep you warm during colder weather. Coffee is fantastic here too!
