Myself and my friend recently took a visit to the green lodge for a meal, we where welcomed by very friendly and warm staff who accommodated to all our needs, not to mention the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The Green Lodge is located a very short walk from the beach, perfect for walking off all that food 😂 I would highly recommend the green lodge if your thinking of where to go for your next meal out and about!
We went for lunch on Friday and were greeted by very friendly staff.
I ordered the smash burger and inhaled it when it arrived, it was juicy and delicious.
The cocktails were great too. We will be back! A+
Impromptu pop into the pub this evening after a fabulous beach walk. So welcoming, we absolutely loved the ‘dog station’ with treats, blankets, water etc for our gorgeous puppy. We ordered drinks and were warmly welcomed to visit the complimentary cheese board which was fabulous!!! Martha, the lovely owner, helped us load cheese onto our plates along with crackers, salami and fresh fruit. We love this pub and visit each time we have walked along the beach. The staff are so lovely and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Only problem… we didn’t want to leave. Thanks Martha and team, see you very soon xxx
We visited because we are having our kitchen replaced so had no means of cooking.
I doubt that when our kitchen is complete that we will use it much on Sunday.
The food was excellent as was the service and atmosphere.
We will definitely be back soon

Went here for my birthday. The food was.great and the staff were lovely and couldnt do.enough for us. The manager came over and asked whose birthday it was and.brought me a.bottle of wine. How thoughtful was that.

Great meal. Party of 6 and we were not rushed to finish or leave. Restaurant was busy but we were served reasonably quickly. A few items were missed of meals, but once mentioned were quickly replaced. We had to chase to order desert, but again it was quickly served. Waiting staff were all friendly and helpful. An older lady who appeared to be a manager seemed more rushed so she appeared to be leaving and not listening to answers after asking if all ok, but assume if there was an issue she would have resolved it. Food was good quality for ‘pub grub’. None of us could figure out why some items were highlighted in a pink box on the menu though
Stayed at the premier inn next door and came here for dinner. There were 10 of us at our table, and the food all came out at the same time. Really enjoyed our meal and staff were great. Would definitely recommend coming here
As I am suffering from spinal cancer, I requested a table with no steps to get to it, a comfy seat and a cushion to put behind me. They did all that. I asked if I could choose from the children’s menu as I only have a small appetite and cannot swallow some things. They were happy to let me do that and even gave me a plain ice cream which is not on the menu!
A member of staff kindly showed me where the disabled toilet was when I requested its whereabouts.
The staff were all very cheerful and extra helpful. We were asked had we enjoyed our meal - which we had .
We thought the meals for the 3 of us were delicious and god value..
Lovely place! Friendly staff and tasty drinks and food. Always a nice atmosphere, there is a quiz night on Thursdays which are superb. Dog friendly and family friendly. One of the staff members, Jim, is asked super friendly and very helpful!

Just had a lovely meal here tonight. We had a voucher code for 30% off mains so chose a starter. Service was good. Drinks a bit pricey but same as other pubs. The food was boiling hot and very fresh. We had the baked camenbert to share and then I chose fish and chips. Enormous piece and tasted freshly battered at the pub. The batter was very crispy and well cooked. My other half had a chicken cider and mushroom pie. Really nice tasty food. Will visit again
Time of visit, it was quietening down and with our party of 13 they were able to accommodate us to sit in a nice pleasant position.
The food was all served closely together as individually ordered, this was all good.
Everyone enjoyed the food and presentation.
Waitress staff are so friendly and polite. Nothing was touch to ask of them. All of table enjoyed food and drinks we had a great night.
Very good roast turkey dinner , for desert we had apple cherry crumble which was delicious only criticism is more crumble on top would have been better, excellent latte with a biscuit to finish.pleasant staff👍 We will definitely recommend The green lodge and will return soon . Well done.

From the moment I stepped in I felt I was a valued customer, being welcomed with a smile.
There was a good atmosphere straight away, both from the customers AND the staff which signalled to me that the staff were looked after as well as their customers! Staff were very attentive, engaging and always with a smile 😀 All this is just as important as the food is!
My friend and I both ordered different starters and a mains. I ordered butter milk tender chicken strips and my friend cauliflower wings. They arrived presented is if in a Michelin restaurant AND tasted like we were in a Michelin restaurant!
My friend had the lasagna and I had the sea bass with crushed new potatoes, runner beans and peas drizzled with a butter and seafood sauce and garnished like a piece of art! Everything was cooked to perfection and we both had clean plates. Everything was freshly made🌟
An eatery is only as good as it’s Chef 👨🏻🍳 and kitchen staff so a shout out to them 👏🏻
Front of house runs a tight (but happy) ship so collectively everyone working there is a credit to the company name and represents them to the highest standard and should be recognised for it 🏆

My sister and husband were staying at this establishment for two nights so we had a meal with them on the Friday early evening. The staff were so very helpful and friendly. The food was served quickly and tasted lovely. We all had different dishes. The tables were cleared quickly too.
I had reserved a table & we had a lovely warm welcome & were shown to our table. The staff asked straight away if we would like a drink & these came minutes later.
There was a lot of choice on the menu. We had Sirloin steak, which was cooked to perfection & Roasted pepper & halloumi flatbread, which was amazing.
The staff were very attentive.
I would definitely recommend anyone to eat here.
We were looked after. A member of staff came apologising for a slight delay in our meal. We did not notice anyway! Staff were attentive and pleasant. The food was good.
And ...! I rang on the day to check I had got all the right. The lady who took my 'phone call said that our table was placed near a singer and that will be pretty loud. She checked why we were coming (three nurses for a good long chat!) and said she could change our table straight away, a bit further away from the singer. This was done and the table was perfect. So thank you to this lady. Above and beyond.
Very Nice Food. The Burgers were Delicious and Cooked To Perfection. The Service was Excellent and all Our Needs Were met To Our Satisfaction. Will Recommend Our Family and Friends To Come and Dine Here Thank You.
