Thank you so much to all the staff for making my hen weekend such a wonderful event. Everyone worked so hard to make it the perfect evening. I won’t remember everyone’s names but my salt and oil scrub in the spa was lovely. Our lunch in the bar delicious. My complimentary prosecco �. The room for our private dining was better than I imagined. Our own bar staff. David who ran the cocktail masterclass was amazing and kept 25 rowdy women engaged and entertained. The lovely Fraser who kept things running smoothly and even turned up our music just a tad louder when our favourite song came on. The meal was beautiful and everyone commented on it. Cannot thank you enough it was a night to remember and I couldn’t be happier. Totally recommend you start doing hen packages!! Xxx.
I can’t wait to book another wee get away. The place is just amazing but it the staff were even better. From the lady on the reception, to the spa team & the bar staff. It was like they had known us for ages, so interested in us and made sure we had a fab time. We didn’t set our alarm for breakfast by mistake and they let us go through as still have a breakfast without any fuss at all. The cocktails were out this world and the food was to die for. I really can’t wait to come back!!! Thanks again xxx
Recently having bought Spa package vouchers I spent a day in the Spa with 3 of my cousins, my Mum and my Aunt to celebrate my cousins 40th! What a beautiful place with very nice staff. We had an absolutely lovely relaxing time with superb treatments and an amazingly good afternoon tea (with one vegetarian option and one gluten free for my Mum - apparently the best gluten free selection she has ever had). The only criticism is we ordered a cold drink as we arrived and orders for teas and coffees was also taken - we presumed they would be brought after the lunch however all the drinks hot and cold were served together before the food arrived! We were initially told there would be an additional charge for these however on leaving we were told they were complimentary! Thank you for a great day xxx �

Arrived on Sat for some dinner/drinks,
Food was delish, - Prawn and Cod Chowder a must try
Espresso Martini cocktail was made to perfection�(and im pretty fussy on this one)
Whilst sitting enjoying a few drinks a gentleman named Fraser came over and introduced himself, pretty much sure he mentioned he was a director in the Bowfield, after a quick hello and light chat he then went onto collecting some glasses from tables - his work ethnic is second to none, really refreshing to see this! Team work regardless of your position in work is something you rarely see! All the staff appear happy, relaxed, and really cant help you enough �
Lastly- creche for kids if your a member.. absolutely fantastic! Girls couldnt work hard enough to keep kids entertained.
Overall... excellent, and would highly reccomend!
Had the best day at the spa, Laura was very helpful and was a great host, afternoon tea was lovely, sat in the patio in the sunshine for a while before I went home , I will definitely be going again and give this country club & spa a 5 star �

Just had a relaxing weekend here while hubby attended a guitar getaway. Brilliant food, lovely staff, nice surroundings and easy access, lovely room and easy to get to. Can’t find anything bad to say �

I had a fantastic day at the spa. Laura was an amazing host and made me feel very welcome. The facilities are very clean and modern. I was here tonight for the Kenny Rodgers and Neil diamond tribute night, pat cairns was absolutely fantastic I just loved him as Kenny Rodgers, the meal was beautiful, staff were very friendly and helpful, a big well done to everyone involved in tonight.
Booked the spring overnight special x it's been a few years since I visited and had never stated previously. Refurb is beautiful, bar area and rooms are lovely and the changing facilities in the spa pool area and brilliant. Food and service from all staff excellent
We enjoyed an overnight stay here in one of the newly refurbished family rooms. Whole hotel has been beautifully refurbished, hotel staff were very friendly & food was fabulous. We would definitely return & recommend.
Searched for somewhere different to eat, and found the Plumpy Duck, great food, service and very reasonable prices, BUT! Card only which I hate!!! Which puts us off going back, sorry 😞
Excellent food everytime we go to the bowfield hotel and country club this is our much loved preffered choice to go for something to eat🍴 out. Great success at breakfast lunch and dinner!!! We love to stay within the hotel and relax and just enjoy eating out at this fantastic restaurant.
Not the cheapest but being fair restaurants in hotels never are so go in with your eyes open and you'll end up with a happy belly. The food was good and the staff were lovely. Not really much more to say than that
Our family had an early dinner around 7 on Monday it wasn’t too busy, the waitress was cheerful and nice, most importantly the food was superb second to nothing, the chef deserves a Mechlin star for the menu, the presentation and off course the food! I had the sea bass and my husband order the day special duck with berries sauce and veg, daughter had breaded haddock. I just wish I had space to order a second main ;-)
Good food with something for everyone and nice decor (a mix of wood and different fabrics). Staff were very nice as well. Plenty of parking space outside, since it's part of a hotel and spa.
Xmas dinner was good.
One small thing though,
I was surprised to see one of your waiting staff wearing a Celtic jersey whilst serving food/drinks.
