Lovely Sunday lunch. It's a bit out of the way in so much as you have to drive a few miles up a dead end road as there's no through road. But the better half and myself both enjoyed it. Clean, friendly, reasonable prices. Decent pint. Gets busy by the looks of it but several pub rooms all nicely set

Four of us had lunch here. We had never been before but what a find! It's a lovely cosy village pub with very friendly staff. The presentation and quality of the food was excellent. If you have never been then you must try it.
Food was easily worth the cost. The main meals were well presented and the tapas portions were generous so a large group's meal came at a very reasonable price. The staff were charming and the pub itself was very comfortable.
I don't drink but the food is first class. Great place for a romantic meal with the other half and very pleasant atmosphere. Nice pictures of some of the history of Barmby as it is does have a lot of interesting history.
Very quiet when we visited. Staff friendly. Decor very good. Had a choice of real ales, all excellent. Food very good. It's quite a way from Howden and Barmby has one road in and out. Would visit again.
