Wonderful service from the young ladies in the cafe and the best breakfast panini I have ever had.
To the gentleman that was talking down to the lady at the counter.. you should be ashamed of yourself. That is somebody’s daughter you are are so cruelly talking down to and for no good reason!

My daughter goes there frequently and asked me and my wife to try it out. We live over 100 miles from Malton and had never heard of Hovingham. The service,atmosphere and food were excellent and I'm looking forward to eating there again.
Lovely traditional tearoom serving a large selection of teas/coffees sandwiches, cakes and pastries. Would highly recommend the BLT which came packed with bacon and served with a side of coleslaw and crisps.Lovely for a lunch home meal

Huge Thank you to Gillian and Becky for doing a fabulous job of getting us ready for my brothers wedding last Sunday. Gillian did a fantastic job our hair, it was the perfect start to the day. Not only a lovely pot of tea but a genuine warm welcome from a family business. Highly recommend a visit. Amazing combination of gift shop, tea shop and hairdressers. Try it - you will like it. 5* all the way.

Amazing hair for my sisters wedding for the Bride and all of the Bridesmaids. Have been trying to replicate on myself since! 5 big stars all round.
Lovely rear seating area, grassy too so it is good for dogs. Food is great and staff friendly☺️
