This independent coffee house in Hove is a stunning addition to the area with friendly efficient staff, its a real cosy place on a cold day for hot drinks and cakes plus they do soup. A lovely place to relax with friends or family.
We attended here as part of a community group and have been regularly attending the cafe. Thank you so much for accommodating us, the staff were brilliant and our members felt very welcomed and pleased with the space. Our members’ enjoyed coming and wish to return because they became so familiar with your café and found the staff reassuring. The cakes are delicious and there are some vegan and vegetarian options.
New coffee shop moments away from home. Went in for an oat mocha and a green tea. Amazing service, friendly staff and delicious drinks.
Beautiful setting with attention to detail, good quality speaker, with good volume. Will definitely keep on coming.

Amazing 🐕 dog friendly coffee place by the seafront! Always clean and everyone is so friendly! They have a good selection of pastries and sandwiches and they also have some vegan options!
Probably the only coffee shop in Brighton and Hove where the staff seem happy to be there. They're friendly and have a laugh with each other and customers, making the atmosphere overall very positive and welcoming to be in.
The shop lacks pretentiousness and you don't feel like a burden just by being in there, which you often get in some other places in the city.
Seating is good, most areas clean. Only negative (which I won't remove a star for as it's minor) was that the vanilla syrup added to my coffee was very artificial tasting. The coffee is, otherwise, always spot on.
Great to see this old pub converted into a good cafe. Excellent coffee and food/cakes Human and dog friendly. Well decorated contemporary pictures. Hope they do well.
The coffees the baristas make at Kingsway are bang on every time. It’s obvious they take the time and care each time they pour to get the right consistency and temperature of the milk (which is rare!!). There is a lot of competition around Hove for good coffee, but Kingway is coming out on top each time for me. I’ve got a Gail’s at the other end of my road, and let’s just say I walk that extra bit further for one of these banging oat flat whites each time…

The atmosphere exudes friendliness and comfort. Great coffee, cakes and hot food served in a trendy environment. Dog friendly too. Love this place.
Kingsway coffee is amazing. I had a lovely hot chocolate and brownie which went down a treat on a cold winter’s afternoon. The staff were so kind and helpful. I will definitely come here again for more hot drinks and yummy snacks.
