Visited here a shortly while when visiting the area, having not been in for a couple of years. Still the same, this is a hidden gem, what a place. Great atmosphere, amazing staff, and great food and really good prices. Can’t speak highly enough of it. For me, best Bacon sandwich on the south coast. Spot on.

Best value cafe in the area, massive plate of food for £6.99, they are also happy to swap items around, I like fried bread instead of toast, never a problem. Service is always very quick too. The only criticism I have is I'd prefer a Lincolnshire sausage rather than the plain one.

Big old fry-up, less than 8 quid, they sell Rio cans to soothe any level of hangover I've experienced (so far) and they ask the big questions, like "chips or bubble & squeak?" The answer my friends is up to you...

My partner and I were looking for somewhere local that would cater for both a meat eater and a vegetarian when it came to a cooked breakfast and not only do they do it, but with a smile in a great location and price. We have since returned several times and always been welcomed by the friendly staff who make us feel welcome. We also bring visiting friends and family here because we know they will leave as satisfied as we have done and the feedback from them is just as good. The food is plentiful, well presented, not greasy or dry and very affordable. There is indoor and outdoor seating, when the sun is out we prefer to plonk ourselves outside where the sea is just a stone's throw from where you are sitting though slightly obscured from sight. On one occasion it was a little cold outside and we had brought our dog with us, the waitress encouraged us to sit inside with him as I wasn't sure if he was able to be brought inside and she gave him plenty of fuss. Highly recommend here for a decent cooked breakfast, I have yet to try other items on the menu but can vouch for what I have had.

Edit: I’ve turned this into my regular food haunt as I love it here. Dog friendly and the staff actually like dogs. Super staff and a great place to sit and eat. I’m here for breakfast and very yummy it is too. It also does vegan and vegetarian. On the corner of Brittany Road just up from Hove Lagoon (use the steps by The Gather Inn pub) on A259. It’s a Very reasonably priced place to bring the family after a day at the beach. Great ambience. All the window/doors open when it’s hot. Called here as legs were tired and very glad I did. Definitely will be on my food route from now on.. Right. I’m eating my breakfast. Sharing my huge sausage with my dog 🐕👍🏼😁😍

Good food for a really good price. And have a few options for a huge portion plate too if you need it.

Went for our now traditional Christmas Eve breakfast. Absolutely fantastic.Faultless in every way, I have friends who sneer at the quality of the food, and that's their opinion. Everybody else is delighted with the plateful. My idea of a top class breakfast.❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍

A class brekkie, nice atmosphere, frankly 20% cheaper than everywhere else but 20% better. This business needs to visit other cafes… far too cheap. Excellent in every way. OWNERS: please do your homework I’m paying £10-15 for a fry up everywhere else locally…but your fry up is bigger!

Excellent prices, huge portions, great service and proper "greasy spoon" food in the best way, totally devoid of pretense but nice cosey vibe. The fried bread was very good (why does nowhere serve this anymore!). Recommended.

Fantastic Big Breakfast, it just beat me but wanted to eat it all as it was so good! Friendly staff let me swap the standard black pudding and tomatoes for extra sausage and bacon at no extra cost too! £6.99 including drink was a bargain! Nice big tables and outside area too.
