Our 1st visit to this Arabic restaurant serving Yemen influences cuisine. We tried the Mandy Lamb, which was unbelievably soft and so tender. Lentil soup was equally great. I totally recommend this restaurant whenever in Brighton.

After travelling 7 Middle Eastern countries over the past few months, who knew the best Chicken Kabsa was in Brighton. Great fresh food and incredible value. The waitress is a bit stretched and forgetful, needs a nudge. But overall great food and atmosphere.

One of the bestest place to get Arabic food in Brighton! Excellent food, service, and friendly staff. It's a definite recommendation. 💯 You have to try their chef's special, Al-Moosh Chicken! It's delicious and filling! 👌🏻

The overall dining experience was positive. We were seated immediately even though we went there on a Saturday afternoon. The entrees were served quickly. Their home-made chilli sauce was terrific. The meals were fine, although lamb tasted a bit plain. The portions were reasonable and the food decoration appealed to us very much so. The price-quality ratio was fair. It is a pity that they did not have any Middle Eastern beverages. Kanafeh was yummy!

I love eating here. Been coming for a few years now and can honestly say the food always comes out fast and is delicious. The service is always amazing. The ladies that work there are so kind and helpful. I recommend the almoosh chicken if you don’t know what to order :)

Summary: Good, Yet Unrefined Experience - Almoosh Arabic Food Almoosh Arabic Food impresses with its fast service, fresh ingredients, well-cooked lamb, reasonable prices, and excellent staff. Yet, it falls short in a few key areas. Highlights: ---------------- Prompt service and fresh food Perfectly cooked lamb, embodying authentic Arabic flavors Affordable pricing and great staff Downsides: Disproportionate rice-to-meat ratio, resulting in a high carb meal Dishes lack optimal flavor balance, with room for improvement in acidity, umami, and salt Ayran is bottled, not freshly made Overall, Almoosh Arabic Food provides a satisfactory dining experience with the potential to be exceptional, given certain refinements in dish balance and beverage preparation. Detail: --------- Authentic Flavors with Potential for More - Almoosh Arabic Food My experience at Almoosh Arabic Food can best be described as satisfactory, but with scope for improvement. Although the food was promptly served and the quality of ingredients was noticeable, some key elements in taste and balance left me desiring more. Highlights of the meal included the lamb, cooked just right and boasting of rich, authentic Arabic flavors, a true star of the menu. The swift service, combined with freshness of the food, made for an agreeable dining experience. Furthermore, the pricing is a high point, offering excellent value without compromising on taste. The staff too deserve a special mention – attentive, warm, and dedicated to their guests. Despite these positives, there were aspects of the meal that could use refinement. For instance, the rice-to-meat ratio was rather high, resulting in a dish heavier on the carbs than protein. While this may suit some diners, an option to increase the meat portion, even at a slight premium, would be appreciated. The flavor balance in the dishes also requires attention. While the food was by no means subpar, there was a noticeable lack in optimal use of acidity, umami, and salt - key components that would have enhanced the overall taste of the dishes. The Ayran, a classic yogurt-based drink, was another area of slight letdown. Instead of being freshly made, it was bottled, which while not a deal-breaker, did not offer the same satisfaction as a freshly prepared one. In conclusion, Almoosh Arabic Food is a decent choice for a quick, affordable, and generally tasty Arabic meal. However, with some adjustments in flavor balance, serving options, and beverage preparation, the place has the potential to rank among the top Arabic eateries. I eagerly await to see how they evolve to fully realize their potential.

If you're looking for some really good and authentic Mandi, you should definitely check out here. Their lamb Mandi is really something special, with the meat being super tender and the spices being perfectly balanced. The chicken Mandi is also really delicious, with juicy meat and rice that has a subtle but delicious flavor. You definitely won't leave the restaurant feeling hungry because the portions are really generous, and the prices are reasonable, so you don't have to break the bank to have a great meal. Additionally, making the overall experience even better.

We were visiting the city and checked the place at maps, it was beyond our expectations, the food was very delicious, the falafel, the meat, the rice and the Kunafeh. The atmosphere and the hospitality from the owner was excellent. I'm pretty sure that I had an additional reason to visit the city again!

We were searching for different kind of halaal restaurant in Brighton. We had our lunch at AlMoosh. Its 10mins walk from Brighton beach. We ordered Kharof Mahshe, Kabseh Chicken and Baklava. All three dishes were delicious and authentic middle east food. Prices are reasonably cheap. We spent £23 for two people. Staff was very kind and courteous. Would like to visit again.

Lovely halal food. Dishes from loads of middle Eastern countries. We went twice within a week when we went on a trip to Brighton. It is only a 10 min walk from the main Brighton beach (from the i360 British Airways tower). Will definitely recommend and visit again. I always visit here when I go to Brighton. The best place to have lunch!!! Make sure you don't miss out!
