Friendly, quick, crispy and light batter and well cooked chips. Reasonable prices and portions too, one of the best in the area despite being a lot cheaper than some others.

Have been getting fish and chips here for years. Always fresh fish and great chips. Gets busy Friday evening may have to queue!
Some days the chips are so beautifully crispy but we have had days when they are soaked in oil and are all soft with a slimy texture. The vegetarian options are overpriced for what they are (store bought pasties or for a veggie burger with no condiments). Other than that, chip can be really lovely if cooked right on the day.
Friendly service and the best chips I’ve ever had. Not greasy or soggy. Crisp on the outside and fluffy inside.

Every time I get and chips from somewhere else it's never as good as the seahorse and I always wish I hadn't tried somewhere else.
What I love:
The chips are crispy and properly cooked: in other chippies chips can be white, barely cooked chunks of potato.
The fish isn't overly fishy, there's no tail or skin on display, just fish fillet covered in tasty crispy batter.
Been twice now. Never fails to deliver amazing fish and chips. And I'm fussy about my fish and chips. GO!
