Really good food, service and vibe. Second time here and this francesinha is definitely up there.
We were working at the Sea Cadet RYA boat station, it was freezing, madeira cafe was welcoming & served us up a tasty full breakfast, and the cost was very reasonable, fully recommend to all, thanks Angie and Catrina .
We were looking for a Portuguese restaurant and found this one not too far away which had good Portuguese food.
However, upon arrival we sit down and looked at the menu and it's completely different. We thought we were in the wrong place. There was a Bifana and Prego which showed us it was Portugues

Really nice latte good breakfast and reasonable priced
Arroz de pato and Bacalhau à Braz were great and a lovely bottle of Muralhas for £20. Delicious lunch at a very reasonable price. Will definitely be back to try bacalhau com natas and francesinha.

Brill food lovely service and highly recommend this little place, if I had one fault it would be that the waitress kept coming to table asking if we needed anything else while we were still eating our meal and had full glasses, a little to keen as was in conversation myself, but don't let this stop

Owner is very friendly once you get chatting. Food was lovely had a yummy English breakfast and plenty of it ! Good pricing and a lovely mug of tea. Thank you.

It's a great place to sit on a sunny afternoon with a plate of chip. They're decent chips as well.
