I hired the function room downstairs at the Gather Inn for my 50th birthday party, and I was thrilled with the service I received from all the staff. They were extremely helpful and professional from start to finish, and they worked really hard on the night to ensure the party ran smoothly. The room was set up beautifully and the food provided was excellent. All the guests commented on what a great venue it was, and there was ample space for a DJ and for everyone to have a good old dance as well. I would highly recommend the Gather Inn if you are looking for a function room for a party etc., and I can't thank Tania and all her staff enough for making my 50th a night to remember!
One of the best roasts in town! The food is always amazing, service and friendliness from the staff is top notch and it’s dog friendly which is a must for us. I would recommend highly to anyone!
We went to the launch of the new menus. It was a delight. Very good food, very helpful and friendly service. I had the salt and pepper squid, which was tender, with just enough seasoning and yummy homemade chilli chutney. For main course I had the Sea Bass. Beautifully cooked. The dessert was a Lemon tart, a perfect end to a mouth watering meal. Like someone said once "I'll be back"���
Been to the Gather Inn several times and have had excellent food and friendly service from the lovely staff there every time. Their Sunday roasts are beautifully cooked and presented - the beef brisket is a particular favourite of mine. The restaurant has recently added several new dishes to the menu and there's something for everyone whether it's a full three course dinner or a light lunch.
Came here to watch the football and grub.. the chicken burger was quite honestly on of the best burgers I’ve had and the atmosphere was amazing
I had my 40th in downstairs function room at The Gather Inn near Hove lagoon. Not free but no minimum bar spend and cheaper than other places I looked at. Recently refurbished with views of lagoon. Quality buffet food, really helpful staff, I couldn’t recommend it more.
Had a meal here with friends this evening, the staff were brill and food was great. Would highly recommend �
The Gather inn is an amazing pub and great place to eat. The owners and staff are really lovely and friendly. The food is great and they're thinking of running a Motown night �
I keep meaning to post a review. Each time I visit (only on a Sunday so far), the roasts are simply amazing! The staff are lovely and friendly. The atmosphere is great. But the food is even better! You must visit!
Just stayed here for the weekend with the family and what a lovely time, the environment and place was fantastic and a lovely place to stay very hospitable friendly place differently stay there again, thank you for making us all feel so welcome from the Foster Family x
I'm a real fussy eater and the food here caters for all. MUST TRY THEIR BURGERS the best I've had in along time. The staff are always friendly and attentive to your every need... will certainly help you out if and when they can!
The double room i stayed in had a fantastic review of the lagoon! The bed was comfortable the room nice and warm lovley sized room with a ensuite - bonus!!
I had the traditional breakfast at breakfast couldn't fail to it . Cooked fresh for you and you can book your own breakfast time!!!

We recently stayed here and found the whole experience a very pleasant one. On arrival, we found the staff very friendly and the room was a nice size and immaculately clean. The bar had a good friendly vibe and topped it off with a nice meal. We Will definitely be returning.
We had fish and chips , home made tartare sauce which was the best i have ever tasted, the food came out hot and the service was excellent .... The only thing i wasnt keen on was the wooden board it was served on , it looked grubby i think you should use plates , there was a split in my board which i think harbour germs ,
But overall 100%.. will return if we are in the area ... good music also, a realy nice lunch out x
