Good fresh food; friendly and helpful with special diets: always something to choose from their menu, whether veggie, vegan or gluten free! I often celebrate community events here, such as WishFest. Plus visit regularly for coffee and get together with friends and family. I also eat, greet and meet here with my voluntary hat on; as Project Board Member for Scope's Hove Local People Programme, founder of West Hove Matters and Co-Founder of HealthKnowHow_. A lovely location; beautiful views across the park. I would highly recommend this park based café :)
I’ve been visiting Wish Park cafe since it opened with my family and dog. It’s a wonderful place with a real sense of community. They’ve turned it in to such a lovely outdoor space and such a great addition to the area. The food is great with lots of choice and freshly cooked and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Whilst my family have grown, this park has changed from being just a large football field to a being a destination to visit. Coffee is great too!
Fabulous food & lovely staff! The cakes were too die for!!! I will definitely be back very soon! Awesome place to eat and chill whilst the kids play xXx
Such a lovely cafe delicious food and yummy homemade cakes. Carla is so friendly and kind and always looks after you. Highly recommend 🍰☕️👍🏼
Really lovely café! Very kind and welcoming! Been a few times with friends and for events. Park is beautiful. The atmosphere and food has always been great, and they cater to all diets. I come back regularly for a coffee and a bite to eat, and often suggest Wish Park when the question "Where shall we go?" is asked. :) (y)
Love having this great cafe round the corner! Yummy food and the friendliest owners and staff.

Thanks Carla and team for providing a beautiful buffet for my sons First Holy Communion which we held in Wish Park. Nothing was too much trouble, great food , great staff and amazingly great weather!! Thanks to all at Wish Park Cafe xx
Had an excellent lunch, falafel salad, with a coffee and cake. It was all beautifully prepared and tasted excellent. The park itself is lively. I would highly recommend this place.
A lovely cafe I just stumbled across. Stopped for lunch and had really nice food. The staff were lovely as well.
Lovely lunch whilst the kids played in the park within eye shot. The bagels and hot drinks that we ordered were delicious. Lots more on the menu we 'wish' to try when we return soon.
Went to the park to watch my son whom was playing a football match here and came unexpectedly upon this little gem of a cafe. Lovely home made cakes, treats and really really good hot food. Bacon sandwich was nice and tasty and hot. A cracking mug of tea as well as coffee. Staff and owner so very nice, polite and quick to serve you. Lovely warm seating area inside and good out door seating if you fancy sitting out. Perfect for families with great access for wheel chairs etc.

What a view, on a beautiful day this is a great place to go for a coffee with or without the family
Visited Wish Park Café with a friend and her doggy. It was a beautiful day, and the café was very busy. We only had coffee's, but the food looked really nice. We plan to go back again at some point. There's an enclosed part for no dogs. But table's and chairs are provided outside of this part for dog lover's.
Best bacon Brie and cranberry sarnie, nice friendly service and quick too even though they were busy
We visited here in a cold Sunday lunchtime. The place was empty when we arrived but quickly filled up. It's a very small cafe but clean and was well run. The staff were friendly and the menus offered a reasonable selection including veggie and vegan options. There were some basic toys and colouring books for the kids also.
Only dropping from 5 to 4 stars as the Dal I had lacked any much flavour. Others on the table had bubble and squeak, eggs etc and no complaints.
Great for a break, large selection of menu items to suit most pallets. Ice lollies and sweets sold. Good coffee options with non dairy milks available, we had Almond milk. Doggies on leads welcome and doggy water bowl by the ordering window. Small children welcome, highchairs available and a few toddler toys on the grass by the café. Big flat park ideal for football, cricket, rounders etc. Pleasant and friendly staff.
Yummy ice creams and delicious coffee. They have a lovely decked seating area with comfortable seating for people struggling with back pain and if you're feeling a little chilly then they even provide blankets at every table. Great for all the family young and old.
Nice place as recreational playground.
coffee bar, excellent food, good a friendly people.good choice of various food . Afford able. toilet facilities , only till 18:00 . It will be close on winter.
When the coffee bar is close.
On Sundays, it is possible to find people play football. And during the week days , will be children playing , from the nurseries school near by .
Good meeting place for dog walking .
Lovely coffee ..Had cake and warm snack bagel with cream cheese. On my doorstep almost.Distance queuing..safe handling of food etc. Highly recommend.
Cheerful, friendly staff plus a huge expanse of field to distance yourselves.
Public toilets are open here.
We LOVE this place. It's ideal for people with kids who need to run around. In fact our eldest learned to ride a bike the other day using one of their bikes on the grass. They sell yummy cakes, great coffee, and delicious hot food. As well as the usual ice creams and candy one would imagine when located inside a park. There's lots of umbrellas so plenty of shade, breastfeeding friendly, dog friendly, just generally quite lovely friendly people. They do events too. Check out their Facebook page
Joining my niece with her twin sons, it was the first day since lockdown that I felt anxiety free. We sat on the grass in the sun with tea, coffee and cake, having been served at the café by a delightful young lady. Brilliant morning and the café was collecting for more wall art. The completed one looks amazing.
