Cannot recommend this establishment enough. Great venue, perfect location. Just what Hove was missing. A restaurant with an excellent chef and a great team supporting him, producing some very delicious food. I have been there lunchtime, mid week and the weekend and every plate of food was spot on. Attentive restaurant and bar staff completed the high level of service received. The management of Third Avenue should be very proud of themselves.
This is just what Hove needed! Food is amazing and very reasonably priced for the type of venue. Can highly recommend the steak and lobster. Really polite and attentive satff and the cocktail bar serves a really good variety of premium spirits, champers and cocktails. The best venue in hove by far!!!
Had an amazing time here last Friday. Wonderful looking place, great food and cocktails, the espresso martinis are the best! The DJ was spinning tunes that kept us dancing until the early hours. Thank you Ben and your wonderful staff for looking after us and making us feel welcome. We look forward to seeing you again when we are next in Hove!!
Came for afternoon cocktails with the girls and was apprehensive after seeing one of the latest reviews but it was proved SO wrong! The staff cannot be faulted they were lovely and friendly, especially the manager James who made sure we had a great time! The atmosphere was lovely and would highly recommend to anyone in the area!
A wonderful venue with excellent service, a gem in Hove which is a must for those who like the finer things in life. Great venue and decor - a must see! Simon Pepper Photography
Great food, drink and lovely service! Highly recommend it!
Exactly what Brighton & Hove have lacked for years. I had a great night, great cocktails and great Dj/music to dance to The decor is really classy, obviously went all out.
Super steak . The staff were so helpful and flexible . Shame there was no melting chocolate pud . I shall have to go back !! 😄
Amazing venue, love the cocktails and variety of bar, club and restaurant all under one roof! Best venue in Hove by far
Amazing atmosphere, delicious food and drinks. Also cool to see on social media about they’re sous-chef Tristan winning the award for ‘Best emerging chef’ in Brighton and Hove. Keep it up!!!
Grate to have a place like this next door .So u should all try it !
Wonderful. Even when it’s a weekend and very late, always nice people in there. Never rowdy. The security on the door see to that!
I had brunch here with my family, and it was amazing. The gorgeous interior design of Third Avenue brings such a lovely atmosphere, and a pleasurable experience. We had brunch and the eggs were cooked perfectly, the avocado was very good, and the toast was perfect. The staff are lovely, the bartender was speaking to us about what drinks we like, and made us our own special drink, with the knowledge he found out from drinks we like. The waiters and waitresses were very kind and polite, speaking to us and making sure we had great service. It’s a lovely place to go to and eat, with great quality food and amazing service.
One of the best cafes/restaurant/bar in Hove - another hidden gem. Went for a late lunch on their summer menu - will definitely go back to try their pastries.
Did not experience the concerns expressed by other reviews regarding the service. Service was amazing and quick, even though there were quite a lot of customers at that time.
Food and coffees were exceptional. 🔥
The lamb was perfectly cooked and the gravy was delicious. The sea bass was very fresh and was executed flawlessly by the chefs. The barrister is really well-trained and professional - best mocha I have had in Brighton and Hove.
Highly recommend. We visited Third Avenue for food and drink and were very impressed. The food is mostly small plates. Each plate was exceptional, so tasty! We recommend the fig and goats cheese. The wine menu was extensive. The service was what impressed me the most. All the staff here were so kind and attentive. Will be visiting again soon!
Best place I’ve eaten in Brighton. Alice the lovely lady who worked there was amazing with her warm personality and her knowledge of the food and drinks was phenomenal. Very helpful as we had a few allergies which was all catered for. Extensive speciality coffee menu (which I just loved!) stuffed aubergine was incredible. Probably the best aubergine I’ve had.
Food was very yummy and came out relatively quickly, drinks were great too, would recommend the crispy fried squid and the miso aubergine 😋
Third Avenue in Hove, following its recent refurbishment, emerges as an exceptional spot for those in search of a remarkable lunch experience that many might not yet realise. This venue, which exudes an up-town New York vibe, offers more than just a meal; it provides a captivating dining encounter with its modern Eastern Mediterranean influenced cuisine. The restaurant's attention to detail shines through in its diverse menu that caters to various dietary preferences, ensuring a satisfying meal for everyone. From signature small plates to homemade bread, sides, and an alluring array of desserts, Third Avenue's culinary offerings are designed to impress.
Lovely little cafe/restaurant but need better signage as we almost walked past!
They are dog friendly and we went for a late breakfast the best one we’ve been to in this area!
Lovely staff and the pastries at the counter are delicious, the drinks are great and the portions are perfect.
I would definitely recommend (this is coming from a very critical reviewer!)
This restaurant comes highly recommended for the service food and drinks, I definitely enjoyed my evening here and will definitely come again for the amazing atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant. I am absolutely in love and will definitely be there again.
Popped by for a cocktail on a friend’s recommendation! We were seated on the terrace, which was comfortable enough but quite narrow for our group of 4. The restaurant is in a very central Hove location right on Church Road, so expect some road noise if you sit outside!
The cocktail list is extensive, and all sounded delicious! I struggled to choose, but settled on a ‘Lychee Rose Martini’ which was presented beautifully and tasted wonderful. At £11, it was a little on the expensive side but totally worth it for a treat! I would absolutely come back again for cocktails, but would probably sit inside to soak up a bit more atmosphere 🍸
Delicious brunch on a sunny Saturday. Wasn't sure if they were open as it can be a bit tricky to tell from the outside, but glad we went in. Food was absolutely fantastic, and the price was incredibly reasonable for such a lovely restaurant and great portions.
Service and the menu were fantastic! It was very cozy and we’d love to go back dining again. Would definitely recommend it.
Had a great party last Saturday!
And loved are time there and the party food was great.
Thank you Ben for looking after us.
