A lovely restaurant! Fantastic waiting staff, the soft shell crab is delicious as is the sizzling fillet steak, definitely worth a visit!!
Thank you for a lovely Sunday afternoon, Hins. The food was delicious and the service was perfect. After five years apart I was catching up with my Chinese friend and you were so thoughtful to ask if she spoke Mandarin or Cantonese. We chose lunch menu A and D with Chinese tea and you kindly let us chat for three hours !! The green chicken curry was exquisite. Thank you again for your hospitality. I will spread the word and hope to see you again soon.

The recent improvements to the interior have made the restaurant more relaxed and comfortable. Loving the new crockery, for some reason good plates make the food look better. Ping and the gang have worked hard over the last year to make this restaurant a firm favourite amongst the locals of Hove.
What an awesome restaurant. Lovely staff and one of the best vegetarian set menus I’ve ever had. Everything was prepared to perfection and tasted heavenly. My favourite was the stir fried tofu and cashew nuts in yellow bean sauce which was amazing. Not too expensive either. I strongly recommend this place.
It was the first time that I visited this Chinese Restaurant last night. The food that they provided was excellent and with high standard. If someone like the Chinese food in Sichuan cuisine, they must definitely need to pay a visit there. In addition, the people there were very friendly and working politely for all the customers. The atmosphere there was also very good, you can spend a night there with your best friends or family members to enjoy the food and the drinks.
Impressive service, welcoming atmosphere and the food is amazing. Beautifully set tables, polite and helpful staff, plus the prices aren't too bad. Prawn crackers and fortune cookies on the house. Would definitely recommend!

Ordered with Uber Eats because of the zero delivery fee today (on orders over £15 I think it was). Restaurant staff (friendly) delivered - just outside the estimated time, about five minutes over. The main dish - lamb with ginger and spring onion - was just about still warm, the rice a little cold. The meat was good, tasty. The sauce was good too. The miso soup - which I hesitated about ordering - was one of the best I’ve had. It was still hot. It was a decent size with lots of tofu strips. Overall, a very good meal. Will order again.
Really enjoyed Coppa Club thanks to great service & its delightful setting in the centre of The Lanes. The outdoor space, a cordoned array of tables around a water feature, was the perfect spot for alfresco dining ahead of restaurants being able to open inside. The two igloo type pods on offer will be booked up well ahead I'm sure. Interior decor is also stylish & trendy. Our young, hip waiter was friendly & efficient. The biggest let down was the very average food!! But good wines & wicked cocktails helped us through.
We visited on Sunday just after the Chinese New Year. Food OK but not that exciting or celebratory, except for exceptional banana fritters. But staff and atmosphere were lovely and we had a wonderful waitress who advised us on how much to order and gave us intelligent advice about the food.

We often get Chinese food when we have a bad day.
This was a bad day, our butler quit and our maid was off sick from a light head injury my wife gave her. This food made us forget about how bad some services can be ps (like the book our maid didn’t dodge when it was thrown at her).

I've been going to Hins for about 5 years now and it's wonderful every time. The food is consistently amazing. The owner/manager is always very welcoming and the staff lovely. Our favourites are the duck in plum sauce and mushroom and asparagus rice, along with lemon chicken. Oh and they do the best prawn toast - not thin and greasy toast that barely tastes of prawns, these are full of taste and not greasy at all and spring rolls at great! Highly recommend.
The first Chinese restaurant I went to, wasn't disappointed and will definitely be going again.
Loved the food, great service and chilled environment, perfect for a casual date.
The egg fried rice was enough for 2 people, didn't need to order 2 separate bowls of rice.

We love this place! Ignore any bad reviews: this is GREAT Chinese food at affordable prices. Always friendly and fast delivery. Try the BBQ spare ribs, crispy seaweed, and sweet and sour Hong Kong style. Very tasty! Only wish they were open Mondays. Highly Recommended.
Got the set menu B for two people(for 3) and was totally blown away by the quality, quantity and flavour of the food for a delivered meal. Everything was magnificent, but I must mention the Mongolian lamb which was perfect in every way. Amazing for £31. Will definitely be ordering again.
