We had a lovely time at Wild Flor. We were particularly impressed with the ambiance and service which felt both romantic and down-to-earth. Perfect for our mid week meal.
The food was of course fantastic and inventive too and we can’t wait to try the Spring set menu
We recently booked Wild Flor for our small wedding reception lunch with family (private dining). From start to finish, the team were so helpful and accommodating. We had drinks and canapes on arrival for all guests - all delicious, prefect proportions and enjoyed by everyone. We then followed with one of the set menus - again thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The relaxed atmosphere combined with excellent service and delicious food makes Wild Flor the perfect dining experience and we are so thankful to the team that helped make the day so special. Thank you James, Faye and team :-)
Lovely little restaurant in Hove. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Loved the cosy vibe, great for a casual date night. Went for Octoberbest which is fantastic value. Enjoyed the mussels, suet pudding and pavalova, fish cooked well, only dish we weren’t so keen on was the black pudding. Would definitely go again.
I recently had a private dining lunch for 18 people at Wild Flor for my hen do and it was amazing. The team were so so helpful right from the word go - James initially when I phoned to enquire and then Faye who liaised with my Maid of Honour in the lead up to the booking. The preordering was so helpful, the set menu really reasonable, and the food and drinks were delicious. The private room is such a perfect spot, we were able to decorate the area and play games and mingle which was perfect. I will be returning to the restaurant to try the menu again, next time without my veil! Thank you all!
First class neighbourhood dining. Last night my partner (vegetarian) and I enjoyed our first meal at Wild Flor. The food was great, the wine list is a treasure trove, we had a true gem that complemented our meal perfectly. Simply the best cheese board I've had in years, paired brilliantly with an exceptional port that rounded off the meal beautifully.
But what truly sets Wild Flor apart is the unparalleled service and the cozy, welcoming ambience. The team struck the perfect balance of friendliness and attentiveness, making us feel at home from the moment we stepped in. The decor, with its subtle elegance and warmth, alongside the soft lighting, created an inviting oasis on a rainy, windswept Friday evening.
A heartfelt thank you to the entire team at Wild Flor for transforming our night into a memorable experience. It's a place that exemplifies the joy of dining out, not just for the food and drink, but for the moments and memories created. I only wish we had discovered this haven years ago. If you haven't yet had the pleasure, do yourself a favor and visit soon. We certainly plan to return!
Lovely restaurant with seasonal choices and good plant based choices. Very good apple tart and ice cream . Great service, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Recommended.
Just a truly wonderful gem. I'd like to specifically shout out the dinner service team on March 20, 2024—some of the most friendly, attentive, intelligent, yet not overbearing or obseqious, table service I've ever enjoyed at a restaurant. The menu is very well constructed, and the food is lovely. Excellent wine pairings as well for the prix fixe menu. Thanks again!
My second visit to Wild Flor and it's always exceptional. Stunning food, attentive service, great wine knowledge and good Negroni. We'll definitely be back.
Great venue, lovely staff. Tried their March seasonal menu- a fantastic meal and selection of wine. Can’t wait to go back!
Really great experience. Everything done to a very high standard. Both food and service were exceptional.
The friendly staff were all too keen to make us feel welcome and acomodate for gluten intolerance. Special mention to Faye that really above above and and beyond beyond ( yes I said that double).
The Pomme Anne are LIFE CHANGING. the trout and horseradish marscapone is very delicious.
We will certainly be coming back to work our way through their eve changing menu. I cannot wait!
Went here for a treat dinner on Friday night, the food and service were fantastic. The set menu at £25 for 3 courses is really good value (albeit we added some sides with our mains and think they were needed). Would 100% recommend
The staff were exceptional, really friendly and excellent service! And the food was delicious, such fresh produce used and amazing flavours. Can’t believe the value of the set menu either. I’ve already recommended you to a friend and will be sending many more I’m sure.
A true gem!! We had a fabulous February Menu lunch with seasonal food! I loved the atmosphere, the food was hight quality 👌 and we were served by lovely service!! I hugely recommend and we definitely will come back again on another Brighton day trip!
This was our second visit to Wild Flor, the first one being a couple of months before the pandemic took hold in the UK. We were therefore all the more excited about this meal after such a long wait for a return to normalcy through a very long winter and a basically non-existent spring.
Wild Flor did not disappoint at all during this second visit, even with some Covid restrictions still in place, and we had one of the best dining experiences in recent memory. Wild Flor is currently offering a 2/3 course set menu, but there is enough choice to suit all preferences and dietary requirements. We had Cornish crab and charcuterie and croquettes (chicken), as our starters, lamb and cod as our mains, and a dark chocolate hazelnut creamaux (mousse) and cheese for our desserts. Both mains were excellent, with the fish and lamb perfectly cooked, and were accompanied by delicious Jersey Royal potatoes and asparagus with pine nuts. The starters were also great, especially the crab and chicken croquettes, which were perfectly seasoned. The crowning glory of the meal for me was the dessert, and the dark chocolate hazelnut creamaux is one of the best desserts I have ever had in a restaurant. A creamy, rich, smooth, lightly sweetened mousse with 70% chocolate, complemented with wonderfully crunchy whole hazelnuts and a hazelnut puree. With fantastic food and an extensive wine menu (they serve other drinks too, including cocktails), Wild Flor is really a wonderful restaurant with great service, for a special occasion, or just because! Highly recommended.
Incredible place! The best service and food we've had in Hove. Interior all finished to a high standard making for a lovely setting. Personable staff and really attentive. My wife and I are both vegan and were very well catered for. Highly recommend.
I had the most amazing time at Wild Flor, it was our first time visiting and the Food and Staff were exceptional! We had 3 different people serving us throughout the evening and all of them were so friendly and welcoming. The quality of the food was second to none all with amazing flavors (particularly the spring greens with garlic confit). The setting was lovely and cosy with a great design, I will 100% recommend to a friend and will be coming back again!!
My wife has been before and chose the venue for a pre-Valentine's celebration. It was my first visist and I was pleased that she did. The staff were friendly, professional, attentive, and helpful. The food was good; good enough to warrant coming again. (I'm quite picky.) My wife enjoyed the two wines she had and I was genuinely impressed by the tempranillo I chose - what a treat (and the cheapest red on the list)! The ambience was nice, especially as all the guests seemed old enough to know to use their indoor voices while dining. It was all very enjoyable - thank you.
