I called this place last minute for a late Valentines meal! Despite being fully booked online they managed to squeeze us in! It was a squeeze at all...we were on the counter with plenty of space watching the staff make some of the fantastic meals they serve! I went in wanting a main - steak but got quickly side tracked by the amazing tapas! We had three dishes each (more than enough) and they were a taste sensation!! Especially loved the fresh scallops and beer! We had a Malbec which was perfect & one of the biggest and best sticky toffee puddings going! Well worth the money.

Went for my birthday and loved everything about this place. It’s very rare that I eat out and am blown away but these guys exceeded my expectations. We were made so welcome and every dish was outstanding. Great food, gorgeous wine and lovely staff. My new favourite place to eat out!

Can't recommend this place enough. Really cool space. Tables or bar area, both Great food. Excellent value for money. Awesome brunch cocktails. Staff were friendly. AND they were playing Grace Jones (as well as other music) ... what's not too love? .... will definitely return!

Best tapas I've ever had! Amazing oysters, melt in the mouth pork belly, simple but delicious prawns, perfect tuna, delectable 30 day aged beef, tasty cheese and chorizo croquetas and heavenly deep fried kale. We had 9 dishes between 2 people as we couldn't decide on just 6! Attentive, friendly staff and it was amazing to watch the chef cook whilst sat at the bar. All in all, an amazing experience. Highly recommend!

This was my fave place to eat when it was Graze, and it still is now its Market (except the food has got better!). The only problem is we have now moved 30 seconds walk away which means we will be spending far too much time and money here in future. The taster dishes are all superb (took the folks and even they loved it and they a fussy wotsits!). The service is always superb, attentive but not annoying and it's nice to chat about the dishes. They even gave us some free beers as we had to wait for our desert (I didn't even think we'd waited that long)! In fact they gave us a free drink when we went for breaky, that was just for being regulars! It's little things like that that keep u coming back. The only thing that I ever ever eaten here that wasn't amazing was the burger. That was a little dry and there are too many specialist burger places in Brighton doing them better but it's not really what I want to eat when I come here anyway. Did I mention the on tap beer (in schooners) it's amazing. Will be back soon (want to try the Sunday roast)!

I never post on FB but the brunch we had this morning at Market was so unbelievably good that I have to. We're big fans of this restaurant anyway but we've not been for brunch for a long time. What idiots we are! WOW!!! WOW!!! WOW!!! The brunch here is just outstanding. The menu is totally different to anywhere in B & H but more importantly it's ridiculously delicious. All I can say is get down there as soon as you can for what I have to say is the best brunch in the area & I honestly do not say that lightly. It's beautiful food, lovingly prepared & served by lovely people. THANK YOU!!!

Came to Market with my husband on a Saturday night. The decor is gorgeous, the staff were welcoming and friendly, and the menu even better. We had crispy olives, goats cheese churros, oysters, mussels with chorizo, and suckling pig. Each dish was more delicious than the last. We were so impressed. The cocktails were also really tasty. The whole visit was just brilliant. We had a perfect, relaxed and delicious night out and I can’t wait to return.

Amazing tapas, each dish was well thought out and presented beautifully. The chocolate moose with hazelnut and salted caramel was sensational. The service was excellent too. Loved it.

Well it was my first visit to the Market this Sunday for a roast and all I can say is WOW!!! Definitely 10/10, best roast I’ve had and trust me that’s saying something as I’ve probably eaten most of the roasts in Brighton and Hove. Not only was it the best but they were also so accommodating for my 2 year old little girl as they don’t have a kids menu which is absolutely fair enough but they did her mini roast all in a Yorkshire, she LOVED it and they only charged us £5 which I thought was lovely of them. If you haven’t been everyone should go

I booked the day before, advising of my gluten free diet, and was astounded at the quality of the feast. We were given a delightful appetiser,as well as a miniature dessert after the main course. I had salt marsh lamb, which was delicious. My son delighted in the food too, appreciating the flair with which it was presented. We were alone in the restaurant for a late lunch, though I felt we had a private dining experience. I want to go back and sample the tasting menu. Gluten free bread was available, and dishes were altered to cope with my food requirements. Go enjoy food which would be so hard to make at home. The decor is cool, even as far as the loos!

You don’t need to read the waffle I’m about to spew, just know this place is incredible and you should go. Full stop. But for a little more detail… Authentic and actually good tapas is hard to find nowadays, but Market is both those things and much more. It’s Spanish in its roots, with the menu clearly focusing on that with Iberico cold cuts, a great selection of wine, a love for seafood and great sauces, but they’re not scared of a little influence. We’re talking lamb and labneh for a little Middle Eastern twist and of course the mighty spanishmisu crossing the boarders into Italy. The atmosphere is buzzing, with bar tenders lively and ready for a chat, and making sitting at the bar a fun experience. The food is to match as well, shoutout to the steak which was gorgeous with the bone marrow chimichurri and the goats cheese churros, WOW! It was a fab night and its rides the line between special occasion treat and just a great regular spot for a bit to eat. Might have to make up a few excuses to go eh! Cheers guys, Was amazing!

I love the Market, I have eaten there so many times but it never disappoints. The service is friendly and the atmosphere always fun. The food of course is the main event and is out of this world. You must try the goats cheese churros and the broccoli but if I'm honest it doesn't matter what you have it will all be delicious

My partner and I had the best Sunday afternoon at Market. The margaritas were incredible, as were the goat cheese churros, the smoked cashew croquettes, the gambas pil pil were the best prawns I’ve ever had. So juicy, flavourful just 10000/100. Ant, Josh, Max and Pav were the absolute best. Will come back here literally tomorrow. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing as always. I took my family to market restaurant, which would have been my 6th time back. We tried multiple dishes from their special menu and they were fantastic, my favourite being the wagyu tartare. I believe this to be one of brightons best restaurants due to them consistently offering high quality food with brilliant service.

I love this restaurant! 1) Decor is outstanding! Extremely creative and stylish. 2) Staff. They are all of the “cool” ilk, but super friendly and helpful. Special shout out to the blonde manager. He really is an asset! The chefs behind the bar look great too. 3) The food (most importantly). This is so delicious. The churros, the incredible padron peppers, broccoli (unbelievable), beef and pork, oh and the aubergine. I thought I might die from the deliciousness of the cheesecake. In short, you simply must go!

A really fun night, I first thought when we got there that sitting on the corner by the door would not be a good place but I was wrong! The food was amazing and authentic. The staff were friendly and clearly had a a passion for their work and the food they were serving. I loved the stone baked sea bass, rosemary potatoes and chorizo dish the best.

The food here is consistently delicious. The staff are welcoming and friendly but not over the top. The menu has a good selection of dishes with some specials. I keep coming back for the goats cheese churros, the sauce on the prawns is to die for and leave room for the basque cheesecake.

Wow. 1. Fantastic food. 2. Fantastic service. 3. Lovely ambience The staff make you feel welcome and at home whilst having fun with you. The food is inventive without being pretentious. The bar is amazing, i honestly can’t fault it. 100/100. Michel(general manager) is a natural, the other staff are all fantastic, my drinks where all beautiful, and the desert was fantastic. Never thought that I would say the highlight dish would be some beetroot ??? WOW WOW WOW WOW. Restaurants can be incredible, and this is one of them.
