REALLY NICE PLACE and AWESOME FOOD!!! The host even wears an authentic outfit to add to the awesomeness of the place and is a really warm and friendly guy! I wish they had an option for 'mild' food. I don't eat spicy food and even I loved it!! ...but you cant ask for everything I suppose. Keep it up
Loved the idiosyncratic menu & vibes with an authentic feel to the Indian selections on offer. Friendly & cozy establishment. But the food was too spicy for us and we were disappointed, although admittedly we have mild taste preferences.
Great authentic Indian food. Loved the thali (Tali no.1) of North Indian cuisine. Loved the paneer, Dahl and bread. I would love a popa too! Not bothered about the dessert... Maybe skip that for a chai tea :)
Delicious Gujarati dishes! Loved the very, very spicy black chickpea curry and refreshing Limca. Definitely worth a good few visits to try everything on the menu.
The best Indian food I've had in Britain! I thought my travels through India had ruined me for Indian food as nothing back in the UK came close to the real thing (generally adapted for the English pallet I guess) but this was so tasty! Fresh ingredients and wonderful flavours! Highly recommended! I
Delightfully decorated authentic Indian restaurant with unique twist on classic dishes. They accommodated a late request for dinner reservation while we were on holiday and we were very impressed with their signature menu and impeccable service. Had a great time as family and hung out late into the
Amazing place. Went here for a lovely meal as I am vegetarian but my boyfriend isn't. However, he thoroughly enjoyed it as well as myself. Lots of different dishes - vegan friendly too. Very relaxing atmosphere - great customer service - very reasonable price and delicious food. Thank you
I really love eating here. Always a wonderful warm welcome and prompt friendly service. It's all vegetarian and fantastic. Plenty to choose from and absolutely delicious. Great choice of wines and beers with great descriptions. Everything is served hot and certainly at the right pace. Highly recomme
Love this place! Authentic Indian dishes. Amazing delicious flavours. Good service, great value for money. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Highly recommended. Book at busy times to ensure a seat!
Came here for a birthday meal and although it was very authentic I prefer a “usual” Indian. Mine was quite spicy as you would expect, I’m definitely not complaining though as it was very reasonable price wise and the food was very well cooked. All in all had a good meal/time and would return in the
Ive always loved Indian cuisine so I knew I was in for an absolute treat! I've tried a few dishes before but I wanted to be adventurous and the Thali was just perfect. My partner is new to the Indian cuisine scene so it was a great choice to start immersing. The decor and setting is quaint and lov
Very nice restaurant layout, well decorated and casual and cozy but with a contemporary and artistic feel. The service was exemplary and the food, from all the curries in my thali to the beer pairings to the pre meal peanut snacks was magnificent. I can't wait to visit their original location in Bri
We love this place and try to go at least once a month or more. Its spacious, gracious, and delicious! Staff is always friendly and the owner is happy to offer suggestions on a good mix of food for sharing. Weekends generally require a reservation as they have a good following, easy in on week days,
Excellent Indian vegetarian food. Wonderful , interesting dishes. Thoroughly recommend. Friendly staff. Go on , try it . I don't think you'll be disappointed even if you are a carnivore.
Good service, great food! A relaxed and cozy atmosphere combined with authentic home made Gujarati food made by "authentic, home made Gujaratis" (quoting their menu) An all-vegetarian menu of tasty and filling dishes accompanied by an excellent range of drinks and stunning desserts. All for a very r
Planet India is one of our favourite restaurants in Brighton. It’s located in a quiet area in Hove and larger inside than the Brighton one. The owners and family are super kind and friendly. The food is incredible. Highly recommended.
Friendly, relaxed and tasty food. Always leave feeling very full and happy. Lots of vegan options and tons of choice. Dogs are welcome too at quite times only which is amazing!! Thank you for this!! Normally I call first to check when booking.
Absolute favourite for me. Usually visit the Brighton branch but as we went last minute we could only get space in Hove which actually worked out brilliantly - as it's Thali night! Food was amazing. Never change, Planet India. Always delicious.
Really wonderful veggie Indian food - I'd defy even the most ardent carnivore to turn their nose up at it. But... Its the service that is truly exceptional. The man that owns it just makes you smile with his infectious joy for life. Highly recommended.
