Amazing!! Food was fantastic, the cheese pull on the pizza was a thing of dreams and the mussels were on point 👌🏻 the staff were so warm and welcoming, had a great time chatting and the whole place feels so lovely and cozy. 10/10, get yourself down here!!
Was here for the wknd and just came in - it was a bit quiet but the staff very welcoming and friendly- lovely decor and clean restaurant.
Got mussels for starters - they were delicious no complaints .
Chicken with roast potatoes where again very nice - fish linguini again very nice - kids pasta lovely - nice bottle of pino grino - desert we got Termasu - this was the only let down - it was a bit dry- needed more booze or moist - biut a lovely restaurant- well recommended!
Big portions, i regreted having soup as i did not have enough space to try dessert 😅 soup was spicy what i did not expect, to be honest i should ask what soup of the day is. My fault. I was happy with my salmon risotto. My boyfriend not really with his food as it was very plenty, not very tasty that is why i go one star down
Fantastic food, my pasta arrived five minutes after ordering and tasted delicious! The server was very friendly and the restaurant feels very comfortable. I will totally come here again!
Absolutely amazing service! Elena made us feel so welcomed and gave us all of her attention and made sure we had an amazing time. The decor inside is so nice and the food was really lovely too, especially the lamb - and the limoncello and cake on the house for our friends birthday was such a special touch! Had a lovely visit from Leyla the dog too and we invited her to join us and she sat on a chair politely whilst we enjoyed our meal. Would definitely return!
Lovely place, dog friendly.
Food is ok and a waitress lady is amazing with a superb service.
Thank you for a birthday cake and a limoncino 🍋 🙏❤️🎂
Great for a day-time birthday dinner. Dog-friendly.
The wait staff were super lovely, quaint atmosphere, authentic Italian food and a shockingly good Sunday Roast!! Wasn't expecting that!!
Marvellous! After my disappointment from Bill's in Lewes last week end, l headed to La Piazza in Hove a bit apprehensive. Stepped in and got offered to take care of my jacket, a nice touch that is getting lost out there. Got seated and got to check the menu which l found was not too long and not too short, choice is there without that feeling of confusion from an endless list of dishes. Prices are a touch more than some other places, however, the dishes are reflecting this and l was delighted by the portion sizes of each plates that came to our table. Only thing l would say is maybe they should offer a drizzle of olive oil or basil olive oil to put on the bruschetta like the do with the black pepper. It would add a nice touch to the dish. I even saw the Sunday roast dishes going to other tables and l had never seen portion like this before, not only they looked big but also looked well presented. I was so pleased overall that l treated myself to a dessert which is very unusual for me. That banoffee pie was amazing. The service is also excellent. I cannot fault the place. I will go back to try the Sunday roast without a doubt!
A great place to eat. Atmosphere was great. Staff helpful and very good hosts. The food was glorious… well cooked and great flavours. This place is well worth a visit!!
For some reason I did not have great expectations from this place. Maybe as it's so central thought the food won't be great but I have to say I was proved wrong. Food was great! Fresh ingredients and classic recipies with unique little twists, very nicely executed! Prices were quite reasonable, good portions, seemed clean and staff were friendly. We sat outside and luckily they have heaters! In Great view of the lovely palmeira Square! I would definetely recommend!
great food, lovely friendly service with great suggestions and nice conversation. the waitress elena was lovely and even got a slice of birthday cake for out friend without us asking as she had picked up on the conversation. will defo go back again!
Was my first time eating out in 2021 and it was fab! Food was quality for its price and service was amazing. Max did a great job on checking if everything was okay. They also have gluten free and vegan options.
Had the pork belly, absolutely delicious. Service was good, had a lime and soda with it which went very nicely with the meal. Would definitely come again.
Came here on a date and was pleasantly surprised having not been here before.
We ordered the bruschetta, Mediterranean pizza, fried mozzarella, and chocolate fondant. The quality and the freshness of the ingredients made the flavors pop. Everything was very well seasoned.
My girlfriend lived in Rome for 4 years so she's picky about real Italian food. She was impressed and said the pizza in particular was proper Italian pizza.
Marina was the friendliest waitress we've ever met. She made the experience much more enjoyable and happy.
We will be coming back, and we hope to be served by Marina again!
I suggest you sit outside here, watch the great and good pass and sip from their excellent red wines. When nice and fuzzy order their lamb shoulder. I won't attempt to describe it just gaze at the picture... heaven. The waiter was lovely and refused our tip "already included sir, just tell your friends about us". PS pork belly also perfect. Lamb edged it by a kitten whisker.
I love their food. I ate Sunday roast beef and my husband ate Seabass pan fried. It just lovely. Delicious. The staff was friendly and the price was reasonable.
Went for my girlfriends birthday and our server elena was so lovely and brought out a slice of cake and a shot of limoncello before we left, she made it really special ! The owner was so friendly too, and the food was lovely I'll definitely go back
So delicious!! Staff were really friendly and we were served super quickly. Will definitely return when we come back to Brighton next
We were greeted by a lovely lady, who made us feel very welcome. Coffee (lavazza) was geat. An older man appeared and switched off so.e of thw lightingwhich left us sitting is near darkness. We asked to have the lights switched back on so we could see our food when it arrived, which he duly did. The lady serving us left and there was no waiter service from the older guy who just left us to it. Menu has a large choice and we opted for a pizza. The base was nice and crusty on the outside but could have done with a couple of minutes longer as the middle was cold and soggy. Toppings were plentiful, tomato sauce was sparse. Some of the toppings were cold too, which was a shame. We had tiramisu for desert and were served one large slice and one smaller slice which was kind of strange. However the young waiter was very friendly. Overall, mixed opinions. If the young lady and waiter were working, i would go again, their service was great. Also, we were there at 5pm and the only people there so perhaps its better later in the evening.
