I go here quite frequently, and I love this place.. the food is amazing.. Proper Indian food, the decor, theme .. everything is up to the mark... Also, kudos to the service... #spiceandsights #indianfood #indiansinlondon
Great experience will be back soon
Flavours of Indian been a perfect spot for Indian to have their own comfort food.. even the Masla’s are the kinda similar to our Indian cuisine..
One of the best indian restaurants in Hounslow. The staff is super friendly and very very helpful. Food is just too damn tasty. Very good value for money. The chicken 65 is damn good.

Indian food is a major missing in London, still there are some restaurants serving delicious food!!
One of them is Flavors of India, with nice ambiance dim lights, showcasing a truck gives you feel of proper dhaba.. I liked the place!!
Coming to food we had:
* Paneer tikka: though it was not properly grilled but yes it was properly marinated.
* Kadhai paneer: It was good
* Breads: Naan, tandoori roti
* Gulab jamun: soft and yummy🤤
And the last but not the least complimentary papad with finger licking chutneys (mango and coriander)
Overall the experience was good, must try once and do try their own made chutneys😍😍
Located just opposite Hounslow Bus Depot, this place looks inviting. I have many times seen Indian tour operators use this place for bulk bookings. The ambience is clear and classy, looks like a fine dine. The starters were good, the service remains a point of concern. The biryani rice was well made and well served. Being in Hounslow, they make indian food spicy unlike central London Indian food which is more adapted to the British requirements. So there is a major gulf of spices density in a chicken tikka at Hounslow or Southhall and a chicken tikka at Oxford Street. Overall a good place to have a indian dinner.
Great place for some authentic indian food. Love their ambience. Their service could be faster. I love the live music they have during random weekdays.
For an instance I forgot I was in London.
The decor and food was good and reminded me of India.
Good place to come especially when you are craving Indian food.
I had a terrible experience the first time where I only had naan, shahi paneer and gajar ka halwa. The cutlery was dirty and the place reeked of hygiene issues. It was nearly empty, adding to the negative vibe. Post that, however, I have been here multiple times, to gorge on nearly every starter they have and some simple main course. And I'll gladly admit I've changed my disastrous first opinion. Bhel puri, aloo chat, samosa chat, gobi 65, chilli paneer, you name it, every starter here is pretty great! The yellow dal is pretty good too. Wednesday evenings are lovely with live Bollywood film music. Walk down to Nirala after dinner for a rasmalai nightcap and that's the full Indian experience for you :)
We ordered Chicken Tandoori in starter which delighted us.. Patiala Chicken and Chilly Bullet Roti is the Signature dish and is really awesome... The Fish served in the starter need improvement. Quantity is good. A perfect place for Indian cuisine where Ambience is great. Staff is very kind.
Good genuine taste of food and nice ambience. However, service and staff friendliness not that good and those glasses were not clean!
Must have is dal makhni, seekh kabab and chilli naan.
Amazing Food, Best Service and Excellent Customer relationship building are some of the points that are worth mentioning for Flavors of India, Hounslow.
Being a vegetarian, initially I thought that there will be not much to choose from and also not sure about the taste. BUT i was taken aback with such a wide variety of vegetarian dishes along side non-veg. As far as taste is concerned, while having food, I have felt going back to India and eating authentic Punjabi food.
One of the Best or I will say The best Indian restaurant I have tried in last 5 years of my stay in UK.
All the very best and keep up the good work.
Most of the time the food ordered- in specific, the Hydrabadi fish, chilli chicken, noodles and egg fried rice- is always full of flavour and can fulfil all your tastebuds' needs! Make sure the food is had hot and the dine in experience is absolutely amazing due to the atmosphere and the decor of the place. Really interesting and traditional feel which is exciting for any and every new comer or even the usual diners. Service can slack from time to time so it depends on your luck and the day I suppose. Every once in a while you can taste the lack of flavours and effort put into the food which is disappointing; luckily it's only occasional. Would definitely recommend it to every to at least try!
One of our regular restaurant for home delivery. Mutton Rogan Josh is a must try along with Malai Kofta. They also serve good chicken lollipop.
I have been to this restaurant n number of times with friends....just love the ambiance & decor...specially front of Indian Truck....which always reminds Indian highway & certainly India...personally feel they should have some strong exhaust at back side of restaurant....as once restaurant get busy it feel like suffocating....no dought food is great...lots of option for veg & Meat eaters....all foods come with proper presentation....staffs are friendly but no at all the time....specially in the busy time...they can't cope....but over all Always Recommended....

Located right at the Hounslow Bus Depot, this North Indian restaurant is very professionally managed an serves the most perfect dishes. My favourite here is the Murgh Afghani. Serves quite fast.
One of the most authentic Punjabi cuisine restaurants in London. I am an Indian and can confidently say that this is as good as it gets. We are a big fan of this place and for six months we went here every weekend for a meal, even though we had to drive 40 mins to get there. You should definitely try the Chicken Manchurian here, it's so tasty and soft! Would definitely continue eating here.
Pretty place walkable distance from Hounslow East tube station.
Ambiance is reasonably pleasant.
Staff is quick, polite and responsive.
The vegetarian food is authentic and tasty.
I have been here multiple times and I don't get bored. - must try to the 'veg biryani'
BYOB - with no extra charge !!!
Been here so often once. The service is still the same. The food is tasty but the quantity is so small. I guess its only the ambiance that brings me back sometimes. There is lot of scope of improvement for this restaurant. I guess the management is changed again. Few years back they had a loyalty card scheme and the new management stopped accepting. But having chicken does remind me of Indian Punjabi food
Dissappointed even though this restaurant was serving Indian food. I happen to go there because of its popularity in Hounslow. Surely the place seemed decent with great work on its interiors to give it an authentic Indian feel but it lacked service.
Had a proper meal starting from soups to dessert but i personally felt they could have had more options for desserts.
The food was decent enough with good portions serving two persons.
The menu has two sections in which there is Indian food and chinese food, both being my favourite, but i chose Indian food while browsing through the menu. I had called for a jug of lassi as i so tempted to have one but it was not at all up to the mark. The music was hitting on the head instead of being soft and pleasant.
The dinner did not stay upto my expectations, but i would like to mention the only thing for which i did not have to wait was the bill!
Serving authentic Indian food(punjabi) in London, this place can be seen very very busy and fully occupied in weekends.
The ambiance is very Indianish with old hindi songs playing at back and the food is great too. Apart from Indian they also servers chinese but typically Indo-chinese style, i m sure you will love it! You can bring your drink inside and have it with your food.
The service is very slow and need to be improved.
I recommened this place but not when in hurry.
Outstanding place to go on a fine evening! In a small or large group they cater to a wide range.
The staff members were really nice and helpful upon arrival and seated us immediately. The food was really good and the mixed grill was marvellous (that’s a must try!).
The restaurant decor was very intriguing as they had the traditional Indian village atmosphere which felt being back home. Moreover, the bill was worth the food and this restaurant is highly recommend!
Wonderful place, best lamb chops i have ever tasted and chicken lollipop is worth trying, good ambiance, will suggest to book in advance if you are going on weekends, this place is jam packed but worth a wait..:)
Have been to Favors of India couple of times in the past when I used to live near Hounslow. I don't live near by anymore but got a chance to visit the same recently with my friend. The ambiance and the food reminds me of my Delhi days. The staff was very courteous and must say really appreciate their service. Experienced a very good customer service after long time along with excellent food which was like cherry on the top. Would highly recommend Tandoori stuffed mushrooms, dal makhani and karahi paneer. Great Authentic North Indian Cuisine place for dining!
Flavors of India brings North Indian classics from the streets of Punjab to Hounslow. I dont live anywhere close to the establishment but if I happen to be in or around to area I know where I am dining. Butter chicken and dal mackhani are to die for - and so is Indian Chinese - I am from Delhi and I so so miss it. Flavors of India is a refreshing change from the usual balti houses and offers excellent North Indian cuisine in a very authentic environment.
I went to this restaurant with my family and friends, and we all enjoyed the experience. The authentic interior decor created a marvelous setting and atmosphere, and the food was absolutely fantastic. The aroma and tastes of the variety of dishes that we ordered, reminded us of the authentic food which we experience in India. Even the kids finished their meals without creating a fuss like they usually do...!! All in all, a fabulous experience, including the hospitality of the staff. Would definitely recommend to others.....!!!
Flavors Of India is definitely top of the list when it comes to fine dining Indian Restaurants in London. Located in Hounslow, my home away from home, Flavors Of India is a stylish Indian restaurant where tradition meets flair. Traditional Indian musical instruments are suspended from the ceilings of the main dining hall. The posh interior sets the tone for an exquisite dining experience. The chicken and fish tikka, with garlic prawns served on a sizzler is great for sharing, and it allows you to try the best of what Flavors Of India Restaurant has to offer. Out of the three items, my favorite was definitely the tender and succulent chicken tikka.
A basket of naan (plain, garlic and butter) quickly came our way with the curries, and they were the perfect vehicle to soak up the curry gravy. The non-vegetarian curries are generally more exciting (at least to me). You can choose from either the signature Murgh Tikka Masala - tandoori chicken tikka in a full bodied bell pepper and tomato masala, or the Gosht Masala - with tender cuts of lamb simmered in smooth house tomato gravy. Otherwise, there are prawn curry with a saffron kick, or fresh fish fillet curry in aromatic coconut gravy.
We were already very full by then, but it was impossible to say no to desserts. The two popular desserts on the menu are Rasmalai cottage cheese dumplings in reduced milk, and Grape Kulfi homemade grape flavored frosty.
Whilst the prices at Flavors Of India are higher than the typical Indian restaurants in London the food is generally quite good.
#must go!!!! Bon Appetit!!!
A FOODIE’S FIND OF UNEXPECTED UNIQUE INDIAN (or Indian with a twist) FLAVORS (no pun for the name of the place😄😄😄). It’s very authentic Indian 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳 though I am not certain which regional cuisine(s) it represents.
It’s a somewhat biggish restaurant on the Hounslow high street, a totally chance encounter while I was exploring the area. It has good dining ambience and looks like a popular place to locals (it filled quickly within 30 minutes I got in).
The menu is a little long listing, some familiar and others look/sound quite exciting. The few of appetizers alone could be an entire meal👏👏👏.
The waitress, who was very helpful and did claim an emigré from her native India 👏👏👏, pointed a few of her favorites.
I took her recommendations and had a ball..🤩🤩🤩 (see the uploaded photos)👍👍👍
One of the oldest and authentic Indian restaurant in Hounslow area. The place has been able to keep up its food taste and quality over the years. Ambience reflects a Punjabi Dhaba and tandoor items are a must try. Vegetarian options are also in plenty. It offers bring your own bottle and overall pricing is pretty competitive. A must try if you love Indian food and in Hounslow.
My all time favorite Indian restaurant which never fails to make me happy. Great food average ambience, good staff and overall good service. Decent prices and a very good and balanced menu. Very convenient location. To top it up you can even take your own alcohol there without any extra payment. What else do you expect from a good restaurant. Highly recommended.
Rang them on Saturday evening around 7.45pm and asked for a table of 5, they said they can't guarantee and are taking walk ins only, told them we would be there in 15, so they took my name and set a table.
Buzzing atmosphere soon as we walked in, not a quiet place if that's what you're looking for on a weekend. Sat down and we already looked at the menu before we arrived so we knew what we were having.
Ordered a mixed grill platter, veg platter Amritsari fish for starters. My cousin really enjoyed the fish, the non veg mixed grill hit the spot for me minus the lamb chops. No discredit to the chefs but lamb chops once tried well are always going to be hard to beat, I'd probably ask them to take out the lamb chops and have extra chicken or shish kebab.
For mains we had chicken tikka jalfrezi, was expecting red chicken tikka pieces in a jalfrezi sauce but not red colouring at all, really really nice flavours and juicy chicken.
When visiting Hounslow again, we will definitely be coming back, see you again soon!
Best Indian restaurant in the whole of London. I travel to India frequently and I have a high expectation of authentic food as I know how it should taste. FOI ticks all the boxes, food is authentic, flavourful and fresh. Only downside is that the restaurant is in Hounslow so I've got to travel an hour to get there, however it's worth it!
Chicken lollipop and Malai Kababs were yummy. Veg kofta and prawns makhani were too sweet. Butter naan was good size & Veg biryani was good.
Food was served quickly & staff was polite. Pictures provided for you to decide on quantiy and menu for pricing.
Interiors gives you feel of Dhabas from Punjab, India.
Visited on a wednesday but was told can't do bookings on phone for table after 9.30pm but to wait out & will be permitted on first come first serve. On visit realised many people had booked & we were suppose to be accomodated only if place available. Had to wait for a good 50 min in a bad weather but didn't have choice as it was too late to try other restaurant.
We, as family and friends celebrated wife's 60th Birthday (15th April) at the venue..Brilliant place for party or any evening out. Organised food and seating a week ahead with help of staff and owners.. Grate helpful staff. Food is grate and tasty.. Important is you can take your own spirit drinks.. Only disadvantage is gets over crowded over the weekend and becomes hectic.. Affordable & reasonable price for tasty food.. I would definitely remmend.. A1+++
Great malai Kofta, probably the best Indian restaurant in London that provides authentic Indian food. They can make spicy food upon request, like real spicy and not like those that would just add bell peppers and claim it to be spicy 😆
Good location marked with exotic Desi dishes one would die for. This restaurant is good only for people with heavy patience. The service could be slow but worth. You could savour the dishes looking over Hounslow street. Mediocre pricing with authentic Indian cuisine. Apt for early diners as the timing for dinner starts at 6pm.
Good food, especially the malai soya chaap.
A couple of days ago the restaurant was full pack and busy. There was rugby match I guess ...even then i had a very nice experience here. Staff are very nice and helpful. We struggled to place our order as the food menu was big. The staff Johnny was patient and understanding and also helped us in food selection. And You have many choice of food, such as mutton, lamb, chicken, fish prawns …etc etc etc. The new boy was quick in clearance.
The area is beautiful, antic wooden deco, the vehicle truck is a must to see...
Though there was a little wait for the wine bottle...I have nothing to complain about this place! ❤️
I ordered from Deliveroo food came on time and driver Marc was very friendly and attentive. The paapri chaat was very delicious 🤤, nutty and bold flavour. The three vegetarian samosas were crunchy and crispy from outside and tender inside. I highly recommend this dining here or ordering from here.
Had a very good experience, went there with friends and family. Their menu has a lot of options, may it be starters or main course.
Prompt service & decent ambiance.
Must try their Bhindi Do Pyaza & Crispy Corn
This is one of my favorite Indian food joints in London. I have been eating here every now and then. So far I have tried almost everything.. And come to the conclusion that it is may be the best for Indo-chinese items, specially chicken lollipops, soups, fried rice etc. Please do order lemon-tree drink..
But... please avoid ordering pure Indian foods like hydrabadi chicken 65 or amritsari fish.. Those are not at all upto the mark..
Another low point is the service. They have a less number of servers and most of them are not competent. I don't really like to put bad comments on people, but I am saying this after so many visits. I have to remind them for a glass of water at least 3times everytime. Couple of times they have mixed up orders, and forgot about adjectives like 'Schezuwan' and so on..
But still give it try... It's worth your money (for Indo-chinese food specially)
