Ordered Chicken Wings, Daal and Karahi Gosht. The wings were spicy and tasted beautiful. If I'm not mistaken, there are 6 pieces per plate. The daal was fantastic. Karahi Gosht was quite nice too but the meat was a little hard to chew on.
Nevertheless, good Afghani food. Love their naan presentation. Don't expect a grand setting or seating area.
This Afghan restaurant is an absolute must-visit if you happen to visit Hounslow. Very famous for their giant "Naan", it serves fabulous food.
The Lamb Chops are heavenly and the Murg Kadai was quite spicy, though tasty. Their Chipli Kababs are quite famous and is possibly their most accomplished dish.
To start off the Bank Holiday long weekend, My family and I opted to have dinner at this place. The ambience is quite lovely and like most other restaurants in this area, it is quite family friendly.
Moving on to the food, I have to say that there isnt a lot of variety on the menu. Considering that this is a restaurant serving Afghan cuisine, I was quite surprised to see that there were only 4-5 Afghan cuisine dishes. On the night, we ordered Chicken Tikka Masala Curry, Bhuna Gosht, Kabuli Pilau and Naan Bread.
Both of the curries were delicious with the Naan bread (did I mention that these naan breads are HUGE!). The Kabuli Pilau was slighly disappointing in comparison to the other dishes that we ordered.
Overall, a nice family owned restaurant with good food. I would have rated this restaurant higher if we hadnt been charged extra for the salad that was placed on our table which we had not ordered. Other than that, I would recommend visiting even if it just to try those massive naan breads. They are great!
Ordered lamb chap a chicken dish and their famous naan. Everything was amazing. If there is authentic Afghan food outside Afghanistan is should be here.
The food is very delicious and the staff are very good.... I love going there every day having food....
Great restaurant with cost effective food.
