We popped in on a quiet Monday evening, not many diners, the food was flavourful. We ordered poppadoms, starters and shared the special tandoori King prawn korai with aloo gobi, rice and naan. Portions were generous, prices are reasonable and in line with the many curry houses in the area
The restaurant has a drinks license but I was able to BYO which is a plus
We spotted Mantra while driving down Hounslow and I'm glad it caught our attention ! Lovely funky interiors. Super ambience! I Just Love the food at mantra. I'm a vegetarian and I highly recommend the bullet naan, the bhindi, the veg kofta and their Dal. Finger licking good!
Visited this place for dinner with my team mates , looks from the outside of this place can be deceptive but as you enter the restaurant the looks are quiet shiny with the floors , walls and tables mostly made out of glass , the beautiful use of coloured lighting and the shiny decorative items hung all round the place adds to the appeal of this place. The food at this place is one of the best Indian cuisine served in and around this area , the tandoori prawns and chicken really stand out of the menu , the cocktails were not that great but can be passable with good food to compensate for . The staff here were really very kind and were willing to honour any over the top requests as well , so basically anybody willing to have Indian food tonight in this area this place would be a must visit !!
One of the best restraunts in the area food is lovely and flavoursome and the staff are friendly and the food is made to our taste but it is way to dark in there!
Great Place. Always been a winner. I think its one of the best indian place around hounslow.
we celebrated our son's sixth birthday at this trendy restaurant located in hounslow...the interiors are very modern and chic.the restaurant has mood lighting however it was dimly lit to our liking..it has a nice ambience..the starters lamb chops, mutton seekh and a chicken house speciality tikka were all nice...in veg the aloo moti ki tikki was great...in the main course we ordered the murg makhani, nalli nihari and the khatti bhindi...the indian music being played in the background was awesome...we had the brilliant ice creams for dessert...service was courteous and prompt....great day to remember
Best Indian restaurant!! From the interior of the restaurant to the amazing looking food! The dark look for the restaurant is so romantic, perfect for a date.
Their drink Shikanji is my favourite, made out of lemon and mint is so exotic. The food is just wow, the quality is high standard and right for the price. It is a little expensive than other Indian restaurants but it is completely worth it.
It has a very classy and sexy look and is very spacious for parties and big dinners with family and friends.
The food is served hot and promptly, along the service provided by the staff is high standard too.
I would definitely recommend Mantra for a great dinner night out.
A posh indian restaurant based in hounslow. Great service upon arrival, was treated very well. Food was great but portions were quite small. In addition, the prices were quite high compared to the portion of each dish. Not great value for money.
Overall, a good experience but only an occasional visit restaurant.
This was the best unplanned dinner experience for me. Walking down Hounslow west i came across this restaurant. It was a funny story how i ended up having dinner there. It was purely out of curiosity to enter this place. The food and the service was equally good. The atmosphere inside is a combination of a white room which can be used as a fine dine and on the other side the red room along with the bar to have some fun.
All in all it serves Indian food and being an Indian i would love any place serving Indian cuisine but only with the taste i crave for, and this restaurant did standby my tummy's feelings.
Only one thing i did not like about this place is its location. A place of this kind would be doing much better and i personally would have been its regular if it was situated at a better location, it would definately do wonders. The location is only drawback. But still is a place to be and would recommend my friends and food lovers to visit there at least for once.
A newbie in London, and a big foodie by nature, it was natural for me to try out different restaurants in the city. But I was mainly interested in Indian food and what better way to start off the Indian hunt than in the Borough of Hounslow. A friend called up and asked us to meet them at Mantra for dinner and I quickly agreed. Upon entering the place, I was awestruck by the ambience. The entire restaurant looks like it’s made of glass and gives a very rich and royal feeling what with the walls painted royal blue and rich red. The kitchen is at the center of the restaurant and a party hall at the end. My friends were already seated and I joined them which is when I saw the an all Indian family shaking a leg for Indi-pop, and yeah, they had indeed found a DJ who could comfortably scratch Desi tracks! The music was a tad too loud till one of the staff shut the wooden sound proof door, and I found it worth mentioning about the party hall since any of us can utilize the facility for a get together. An unusual thing about this place is that, all their waiters were Indians and were dressed in ethnic clothes and their waitresses English, all decked up. They are very fluent in pronouncing the Indian dishes, mind you.
Our friends were vegetarians, so our order was a Gobi Chilly Fry, Khattee Bhindi, Veg Hyderabad Biryani and Raita, and Ashoke-ki-Bhalla chat. The boys had their usual Beer and we ordered a Lady Mantra. The cocktail tasted like any other Mojito, which also happens to be my favorite cocktail, but got a little sour towards the end. The food tasted quite nice, though the Gobi could have been a bit crispier. The Khattee Bhindi was absolutely lip-smacking with the tinge of bitterness that bursts as flavor-lava in the mouth. The biryani too was delicious and we ate in bliss.
The waitress was back to take our order for desserts. We were very tempted to order the Gulab Jamun but she suggested we go for the Dessert of the Day, which was Kheer. It looked amazing, so we thought it would taste amazing. But we were a little disappointed. It wasn't too sweet and tasted milky rather than cheering up your taste buds.
All in all, a very good place to dine-out with great interiors, courteous staff, and some rich and pleasant food.

Absolutely Bliss, probably the only proper Dum Biryani in London as authentic as it can get.
Excellent staff very polite and courteous. Mr Singh goes out of his way to look after and welcome the customers can't wait to visit again hopefully tomorrow.
Service with a smile and you feel as if you are dining at home excellent can't fault anything. The host even shared a tasty starter that was made for the staff.
An example of "Athiti Devo Bhava " an old Sanskrit saying which means Guest is God can be witnessed here
Went today the 10 th of April after a while definetly the consistency has gone food was not as good service gone down surely i guess Mr singh not being there today has made a difference not the same for sure definetly a negative experience after last few a couple of months ago
Best south Indian food in London. Authentic Hyderabadi biryani and delicious chicken 65. Keep up the quality of service and food. Will visit again and recommend my friends too. Parking for the restaurant is just in the lane opposite to it and it's "paybyphone" parking.
One of my favourite place for perfect Hyderabad food. I always prefer biriyani here. If you are a biriyani lover and looking for perfect Hyderabadi biriyani in london then you must try biriyani here. I always get takeaway from here. And nice place to go dining with family. They do nice mysore bonda, pakodi, Cut mirchi, gongura daal and lot more. If you are looking for proper Hyderabadi food this the one place in Hounslow.
Authentic Indian cuisine. Great ambiance. Hospitality - 5*, Food - 5*, Ambiance - 5*, Drinks - 5*, Service - 5*, Welcome - 5* ... what more can I say, I am going back again !! Don't forget to order Butter chicken and Lamb Rogan josh. killer!!!
Excellent eating experience, No.1 Restaurant in west london, Hyderabadi Biryani is next level, good customer service and super food.
The staff is always ready to help, the premises are extremely clean, the atmosphere is lovely, and the food is delicious and beautifully presented.
I had booked table of 15 people in Bukhara Lounge, but their customer service was utterly Unprofessional and unorganised. i had done my booking back in Aug, when we went there we was told no table for 15 people and if we eat we need to have their choice of set menu.
However we came Jalsa Lounge, table was available, the staffs were so welcoming we had a great dinner the person who was serving us went was very friendly, it didnt seem like we were in a restaurant, it seemed we were eating in one of the family members place. The kids enjoyed alot as they got alot of attention, and food was so delicious. great value for money. Thank youu once again Jalsa Lounge.
Definitely going again

I was there last week and i have served by Snehith. He was so gentle . Had an amazing experience and the food was really delicious!
We had visited to try some food options for our catering requirements. Staff were very polite and helpful and the cook provided the item which was not on the menu as per our request. Subsequently we placed an order and our guests really liked and enquired about restaurant.
We had our twins 18th birthday party yesterday in Amrit Lounge. The food was so delicious by chefs (Mr. Sharma & Mr. Pandey) , waitress ( Aasha) was excellent and was spot on. The manager ( Mr. Sooriya ) was so helpful and he is brilliant. He managed this event so smoothly that all our guests (80) were so impressed with the food & service and the atmosphere. Highly recommended for small partys for around 70/80 people. A big "Thank you" to all the staff of Amrit Lounge for making this event a grand success.
Very good party and Music area, good for small group party with dance.. like birthday party..
