Transiting through Heathrow we stayed at the Ibis. Instead of going the easy option of eating at the hotel restaurant I thought we’d check out the pub across the road. Didn’t think a pub in an airport precinct would be too memorable but it was in my top 3 food experiences of my 3 week holiday. Great food, warm beer, and bloody reasonable prices. Spewing it’s not local, otherwise it would be a weekly ritual. Well done.

Was there one week ago. Ordered fish & chips. It was really very good and well made. Staff was friendly. It's just it takes a while for food to arrive. It was suggested by a nearby hotel where I was staying.

Love this place! Always go here whenever I want a bite around Heathrow. A very cosy pub, right next to Heathrow and the Park Inn Hotel with Excellent Ambiance and music. The speed of the service could be better but the staff are always courteous and smiling. The food portions are large. Although a limited menu, the food tastes great and is very good value for money.

Came here since it was nearest pub to conference center. Unfortunately both days didn't have pies. Some good selection of beers and cider. I did enjoy the ambient, even if the service was a bit slow at the desk taking orders.

This felt like a little hole-in-the-wall. We walked here from our hotel shortly after we landed in Heathrow for a late lunch. There were only a few customers in so we had virtually no wait for anything. You order at the bar and pick your own table. The staff are very nice. They were out of a few food items/drink mixers, but it was no problem as the alternatives available were still good. We got the buffalo cauliflower to share (flavors are on point, texture was a little softer than you'd get in most places). I got the meat and ale pie with chips and an expresso martini. The hot water crust for the pie was perfect, crispy on the outside and flaky, with a soft inside. The meat filling was delicious, and the chips were great. It was fairly stuffy inside, kind of humid. And I don't know if it was just our luck but we got a really wobbly table (though through our 9 day trip through London and Iceland, we never got a non-wobbly table haha!). The staff are very nice, also on the quieter side. The atmosphere is relaxed/calm -- a bit different from most other pubs. Overall a good place for a sit-down meal near the airport.

The food was really good although when we arrived we were told they were out of a lot of food so they had a limited menu. We were told they we’re almost out of fish and chips but we were able to get them right before they ran out. They give big portions and it was all very good. We also had the Katsu curry with rice and chips and the seafood duo (shrimp and salmon) with salad, baked potatoe, and beans. Last for dessert we ordered the caramel banana waffle!

Absolutely amazing food, great beer, great atmosphere. People are so friendly. If you go. Hurry and grab the first available table and steak it out even if it’s not clean yet. even with everyone there being completely overwhelmed by the sheer amount of people everyone was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

Grateful this was a great choice within walking distance for our family. The meat pies, fish and chips (not pictured) were great and the kids enjoyed their kids meals. The portions were the perfect size.

Wow! The food was so good! I also loved the atmosphere and the lights. They didn't have fry sauce, ( an American thing) so I asked if I could get some catsup and mayonnaise to make my own dipping sauce for the fries/ chips. They brought everything out quickly!

The Three Magpie's was a complete delight. The authentic British Pub ambiance and incredible Sunday Pub Lamb Shank was more than I expected. Followed it up with some local pints, great conversation and many laughs. The service was fabulous. I highly recommend the Three Magpie's.

We are on our last day of traveling the country. We are in a hotel down the road and walked in to see the Magpies. 6pm, quiet setting, nice atmosphere, old school feel, music was pleasant, seating is inside or outside. Felt very comfortable, food and drink is good and well prepared.

like finding a red telephone box with an actual working pay phone in it, this is an actual real pub (les toilettes de geezer are the giveaway) in a location one would have thought would have been re-imagined many, many years ago.. as the world turns where once "salt and pepoer quid" was once a term of perjorative abuse, and now its something you eat, no small plates of cockles here, but never the less, if you would rather not pay stupidly stupid hotel bar (and food for that matter) prices this place is just across the road by the traffic lights.. go on, give it a punt, you know you want to !! tourist and punters who don't have enough time to go to Wetherspoons in Uxbridge friendly .. high praise indeed !

Excellent service starts a meal well. Even though it was a busy Saturday the tables were cleaned down and order taken with a smile. I chose fish and chips with a glass of wine. Lovely pub grub. Recommend if you're staying at one of the hotels along Bath Road.

Pub has a nice atmosphere, the service is slow, I mean when it takes to get a seat and order, we ordered pie and mash and it was very disappointing, mash was rough, you can clearly feel It was made out of dry powder, and didn't have a flavour, brocoli was inedible, so not really happy with our choice , I wanted a lamb shank bit they didn't have lamb, so I had to order smth that I cannot mess up, but still they messed it up

Fantastic little pub! If you're here then you're either a local or a flyer (in which case you want a big rib-sticking meal before or after your flight). The pub is cosy, plenty of different seating options. Drinks are varied and handsomely priced. The food is marvellous. I sat near the kitchen door so I saw all manner of plates coming out - fish and chips, kids' meals, Sunday roasts, scampi - and some lovely looking pies. I had the katsu curry - hot, huge, and a very handsome price. The staff couldn't be nicer, lovely people. I strongly recommend this place for the tired traveller!!

The Three Magpies pub, nestled near Heathrow Airport, is a charming gem for those seeking authentic British fare. The culinary experience here is a testament to traditional English comfort food at its finest. I got the sticky toffee pudding paired with clotted cream ice cream is a standout delight, offering a rich, indulgent sweetness. It's a dessert worth savoring to the last spoonful. I talk about it first since it was a favorite. If you like classic dishes, the fish and chips are a true embodiment of crispy, golden perfection, while the steak pie is a hearty marvel, brimming with succulent, tender chunks of meat encased in a flaky crust. While table service might was not offered since we walked in and did not reserve, the staff at the Three Magpies more than make up for it with their warm and welcoming demeanor. Their attentiveness ensures a pleasant dining experience, creating an atmosphere that feels comfy. The pub's interior is a little dark for me but exudes a quaint, cozy ambiance, replete with character and history. It's a space that invites you to settle in, relax, and enjoy good company. Good variety in the menu, catering to a range of tastes and preferences. Remarkably, the Three Magpies manages to strike a balance between quality and affordability. The prices are reasonable, especially given the exceptional quality of the dishes served. For travelers passing through Heathrow, or locals in search of a delightful culinary escape, this pub is a must-visit destination. It promises not only a taste of Britain's culinary heritage but also a genuine sense of hospitality.

Solid pub near Heathrow. The food was classic English pub food and reasonably priced. The drinks were also very reasonable. Only complaint was that we showed up just before 6 PM on a Saturday and they only appeared to have 2 or 3 staff on site, which made the menu a little more limited than advertised.
