Great food and great service. What let it down slightly for me was that we got charged £2 per poppadum and an additional £2.80 for the pickle tray. So just short of £7 for 2 poppadums. Other than that I can’t fault it.
Delivered on time the food was hot apart from bahjis could have been hotter but the salad was so fresh and lovely the food was really tasty the jalfrezi had heat but there was also lots of depth and taste i enjoyed it very much we will return
Food was great, only thing is I don't like potatoes in my chicken vindaloo and it had some in, just seems like it's a filler. Other than that it was great
Went for a family meal Food was delicious and helpings generous, needed a doggy bag there was so much
Went last night for the 1st time. Got a vegetarian dupiaza which was very tasty. Food was really nice. Staff were attentive without being overbearing. Would definitely go again.
Although from the outside looks a little dodgy, don’t be put off the food was excellent. We ate off the gourmet menu (about £5 more than the standard) but also tasted some items off the main menu. Some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had and excellent service. If you’re nearby don’t miss this hidd
Great service and the food is top tier, definitely worth making your regular place
Another great night at Palanquins. Food and service exceptional as always.
This is a beautiful restaurant inside. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food is amazing and quite large portions. I had a chef's special it was superb. No matter where I go I always get the bhuna prawn and it didn't disappoint, it was severed different from normal but was it very ta
Second time I've had takeaway from Palanquin, first time was a vindaloo, good but needed more heat. Tonight bhuna chicken puri, very good, and prawn dansak with a chapatti, excellent, the dansak was slightly sweet at first but once the pineapple was crushed and the juice released it was one of the b
Great food every time!
Been here 5 times since it's been took over, been very nice every time
Visited here tonight with my family and everything was amazing. Super friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you, great layout and best Indian food I have tasted. 5 STAR all round. Definitely worth a visit.
Tonight was our first time here and it was absolutely fantastic - the food, service and presentation. Everything we had was so tasty and there was so much we were able to bring it back for tea tomorrow! Highly recommended it really is a hidden gem and we will definitely be back.
First time at this Indian restaurant and it was absolutely beautiful, the food and the service was 1st class. Will definitely be back. Fantastic place would highly recommend
Food is always nice but have had 3/4 occasions where we’ve not received one item. Last night it was the onion bhaji. Find this really strange as it is nearly every time we go. Annoying as lovely food.
Had a takeaway from here tonight, what can I say absolutely fantastic food, amazing staff, so friendly. This has got to be the best Indian meal we have had in a long time, no need for us to look for a good one anymore will definitely be going back. Will definitely visit the restaurant when it opens.
Phoned and within 20 minutes my order was ready, on arrival i was greeted with amazing hospitality, friendliness and a complimentary beer or cider. The food was absolutely fantastic, so tasty and plenty of it. I would highly recommend this place. Mr Robson
