Popped into here with grandson about 7pm after he spotted the play area and we thought ok we'll have a beer while he played and the barman was very chatty and friendly so yes next time we are out for a walk we'll definitely pop in again on a nice night
We have eaten here before and it's always been pleasant but recently got taken over by new management and wanted to try it again. We were greeted warmly by the new manager and as it was quiet we had free range of where to sit. Food was prompt and tasty, would definitely visit again.

Went for a meal today, was absolutely delicious a welcoming friendly place and great staff would definitely recommend giving it a try 😊💯👌
Always made to feel welcome at the floaters mill by Chris and Laura. Perfect pint with a friendly service, sat down to a clean table. Ordered the ultimate spicy beef burger it came in good time the food was flawless. Can get the same menu in other marsden pubs but this one is different only way to d
Great local been here a few times now very friendly pub
My mom and I came across this pub on the 2nd of August as we were travelling south. The staff were really welcoming, and the food was cooked nice. I had what I thought was the BBQ chicken burger, but had actually ordered the classic. The staff were more than happy to add the extras at no extra cost.
I’d give 6* if possible, staff were amazing and couldn’t have been any more helpful, food was absolutely amazing and the service my family and i received was impeccable!! The pub itself was very clean and hygienic and the halloween decorations were out of this world! I will definitely be a returning
Lovely pub and staff were very friendly Ordered a mixed grill but was told there was no eggs. Instead was offered a complimentary drink or desert so I chose a cheeky pint 👍🏼 Will definitely be returning soon
Lovely place. Play area is enclosed and perfect for the little one to run wild. When it's sunny the outside is gorgeous. Lovely river wall across the road. Went today and got a free prosecco for mother's day. Staff were lovely too.
Just had Sunday carvery here, it was delicious well worth the price, not expensive, cauliflower cheese best ever and mash to die for, and everything else as well. Really friendly staff too. Definitely be back.
All around amazing pub from the food/drinks to the atmosphere. Pool table available along with a dart board and jukebox. The staff are beyond friendly and always make you feel welcome. 110% would recommend even for families as there is the play park that they can entertain themselves with.
Friday night we attended an engagement party at floaters mill. An excellent family run pub, friendly staff. We were welcomed by the regulars like returning family. Such a great feeling of a friendly, comfortable atmosphere. Such a good night had by all on our mini bus.
Visited today for the first time, Food is delicious and big sized portions. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, service super quick too. Dogs also loved the outdoor for a little moosh about. Definitely will visit again
Pleasant little pub. Treated the kids to a late lunch. Menu choices aren't massive but we enjoyed what we had. Clean plates by all. Reasonably priced. £54 for 2 adults and 4 children including drinks. Little play area outside. Would visit again.
