This a cool and different place to visit. The staff were efficient and very friendly, they seemed to genuinely enjoy their work and each others company. The decor is quirky and different. The food was excellent, I had a tomato and chilli soup and a burger with pulled pork. The areas for improvement are the toilets needed some TLC, definitely not at the same standard as the rest of the venue, and the beer selection is very poor. Not a single beer or craft lager at all, only Peroni or Moretti. The menu says ask for what ale they have on sale, so I did and they had none! All in all an excellent visit and would definitely return. Could be even better with some small changes.

This place is wonderful. The staff are great and the food is to die for. Everything is unique. Never been anywhere like it before. Rhubarb gin and Prosecco cocktail is a must.

This place is beautiful, really quirky and cosy. I ordered a traditional breakfast and my partner ordered the Houghton breakfast really good quality food. The halloumi fries are a must. Will defiantly be making more of an appearance at this lovely little place. The staff were so friendly and were more than willing to go out their way to make our visit perfect.

Amazing staff and even better food, best to book a table to avoid disappointment as it is always full, definitely going back in the future!

Great place, we had breakfast. Eggs Benedict, tasty bacon and lovely runny poached eggs. Something for everyone on the menu from a bowl of cereal to the frankly huge Houghton Feast. Brilliant.

First time eating in had take away a couple of weeks ago hence going today. Houghton-le-Spring is full of sandwiches and pastys so great for a change. The food I order was amazing. Big portions. Full of flavour. Great menu. The staff are great and the chef is amazing. Made me feel comfortable and as used to work in bars and restaurants I can be critical but cannot fault it. Cant wait to work through the menu now

Good value breakfast. Quality ingredients. Excellent coffee. Friendly prompt service. Quirky decor and ambient music won't be to everyone's taste, but nevertheless beats the chains hands down.

Had an 18th birthday tea. The table was decorated, complimentary fizz for the birthday girl. They couldn't have done anymore for us. Food delicious. Definitely booking another tea soon thanks

Just popped in for a cappuccino, what a lovely place. Ended up having something to eat. What a lovely waitress we had and the food was excellent. Fair way to come but it was worth it and we will be back.
