Been now 4 times and every time the rib eye steak is the best. The food is excellent and so are the staff. Feel welcomed and great atmosphere aswell. Will definitely recommend this place and we will be returning very soon �

But he wasn't there at the time I went! It was to celebrate my fiancé'S daughter's 21st birthday with some of his family.
The atmosphere is great, staff very attentative and the food ample and delicious! Overall a great night and was enjoyed by all that attended! Would recommend anyone to visit whether it be a social event or your local! It's a great friendly pub!

We stumbled across this place by accident a few months back and we have been back several time since. The food is fab and very reasonably priced. The staff are lovely. My only thing is that under 16s can't play pool much to my 8 year olds disappointment.
I love that the landlord is very approachable, the staff go above and beyond for every customer and the food is delightful

Large pub with large free car park. Couple of disabled parking spaces next to front door. Plenty of outdoor seating available. Pub has a lovely atmosphere and is DOG FRIENDLY! They even have free dog biscuits on the bar! Staff were extremely pleasant, polite and helpful, couldn't ask for more. Toilets were clean and well equipped. Food was delicious and is reasonably priced. Lots of choice and lots of offers available. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning.
Me, my partner and dog regularly visit here for lunch, we are absolutely never disappointed! Fabulous food, great staff and friendly atmosphere. Lovely location also! I really can’t think of a negative 10/10 every time.
Call regularly for a few beers on a Sunday and treat our dog to sausages and chicken but yesterday was the first time we have eaten ourselves.
Went for cheese, leek & potato pie and Mac & Cheese with vegan strips. Both meals were excellent and went down well with our celebration bottle of champage (my 60th). Blood orange chocolate brownie for dessert was delicious.
All the staff are friendly and efficient.

Brilliant lunchtime meal here recently. Excellent food which was very well priced ( particularly when compared with other establishments in the area) . Fast/ polite service. Good choice of the usual drinks. Some parts of the building’s exterior ( particularly round the back) could do with some basic maintenance work, but don’t let that put you off! The interior is very smart and clean. Overall this place is a gem on the edge of the Rivington moors.
Good staff, decent pub grub, just what was needed. Menu was a bit basic on a Sunday but some good specials. Give it a go
I came here today with my nana, not been for a very long time. Young lady at the bar was super friendly about 3pm today and helpful chosing a drink for my nana great service. We ordered food 2 burger meals that was very fast coming as well and hot and delicious. Everywhere was nice and clean and warm and great atmosphere. We will be looking forward to coming here again
Alison helped us host my Mums wake and she couldn't have been any more helpful or kinder during both booking and on the day. Alison kindly opened slightly earlier, gave us an area we could all be in which also led outside. Food was excellent and just what we needed. Lovely place to be and now discovered we will return for happier reasons. Thank you to Alison and the Team, your kindness will never be forgotten.
Just had a great family meal here, the service and food were first rate. Our daughter especially enjoyed her tomato pasta. Would definitely recommend and we will be coming back .
We had a small Wake held here and catered for by the pub . The food was lovely and fresh and presented lovely .The staff were really kind giving a great service through out . Overall we had a lovely time and really enjoyed the food and how accommodating the staff were , thanks for everything.
The food is lovely home cooked food by Joan in the kitchen. Fran the waitress /barmaid is really friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend a visit.we'll 100% be back very soon.
